Lucifers hasn't been the same since you left....
Of course, doing drugs in Thailand is illegal. What you may not know is that the drug laws here are very strict and with harsh penalties. A foreigner in possession of a small amount of marijuana might be lucky to be let off with a fine, but any other drugs will probably put you into jail with a fine. Trafficking in drugs can land you in jail for the rest of your life. Be careful of your possessions, especially when travelling. Do not carry any item for anyone, e.g., as a favor, because they could have drugs hidden inside, and they could be using you as an unwitting drugs trafficker taking all the risk. If someone wants to send something to another country, then they should use a courier service such as DHL (international) or EMS (domestic). Lock your luggage when not in use. Do not leave strangers with your luggage. Be careful who you travel with.
not sure if i'm spelling this right but i spent my time there in Hat Yai ( which is a medium sized city) and Krabie beach, which was a secluded area, but very beautiful and lots of fun, did some karioke there. I remember being very drunk and there was no cab drivers out there, so we payed these guys on mopeds to give us a ride back to the hotel. Nothing like being hammered on the back of a moped speeding in a foriegn land. there were like 4 mopeds in total to get us and the girls back to the room. I remember seeing signs all over the hotel that a certain fruit was not allowed on the premise.
no it wasn't a beach in the Hat Yai I was in but Krabbi was a beach and was beautiful. Hat yai was just a smoggy city with some pretty good night lifeHat Rai Le beach?
