The boy wonder is awesome in September. Especially when they can put teams like the Broncos in the relentless sunlight and heat and roll up 70 points on them

Come December, not so good. In 2022 8-3 becomes 8-8 before they beat the Jets to end the season. In 2023, they lose their last 2 to blow the division crown and an opportunity to host this weekend. Suffice to say, they're a lot better in Miami

I don't think the Capri wearing boy genius gets much respect until he breaks that trend

That's just me talking 😀

Who knows? They're a solid team.

O-line is EXCEEDING expectations
Tua (when healthy) is looking very good
Defense hasnt been that great. Another problem is that they have a quick strike offense so they'll be on the field alot.
They have wins over the giants, broncos, and panthers at home. In all of those games, the weather affected the visiting teams in the 2nd half (usually does in Sep/Oct)

The major key for this team is to stay healthy and have a little bit of luck (we could say that for 90% of the league).

Jalen Ramsey will be back in November and December. Achane will be back in November. They arent rushing people to come back from injuries so soon. They want to be the last team standing in February. I dont think they care if they are a 1 seed or a 7 seed. They just want to be healthy going into the playoffs (of course a bye and home playoff games would be nice).

Of course i'm rooting for them to win on Sunday but it’s not the end of the world if they dont. Also not the end of the world if they get blown out either. That way, the media wont hype em so much as they did after they scored 70 on them and Buffalo took em out the next week.

They weren’t healthy.

Miami and KC were both struggling but give me the team with experience in their home stadium in their weather over the other struggling inexperienced team out of their element. I was a touch surprised KC wasn't a touchdown favorite. Easy to say now obviously.

This seems like everyones new it team to win or make the SB
Last year they were 2-6 vs playoff teams and 4-6 vs winning teams.
They beat 3 god awful trash bags this year and 1-1 vs what appears to be good teams including a 28 point loss to Buffalo.

I am still not a fan. Good team but not a fan. They may run off a good record. I expect 12-5 or so but ultimately when they face the best of the best they won't get it done. I expect 1 win at most in the playoffs.
I could be wrong but just my opinion
Anyone else think they are a bit overrated? I think that 70 they put up is in peoples minds.

Don’t think they were actually anyone’s favorite to win the Super Bowl lol

They had an overall good season that ended poorly , largely due to injuries and also due to some shitting the bed. It happens

They are probably gonna be in the mix again next year

Foul!

Cheap shot!

Once Rogers went down the Jets were doomed. I mean we already knew who Zack Wilson was.

Please punch above the belt!

Rodgers wasn’t going to be the difference in our bet dude

Jets have a shit offensive roster. That’s why the bet was lost

I didn't see it like you. I still don't.

Rogers, Garrett Wilson, and Breece Hall are some high quality pieces. Enough to carry an average offense at other positions. An offense that didn't need to break offensive records because they had a very solid defense. Which they did until they quit when it was announced that both the coach and the GM were secure. Then they collapsed and turned to shit. It's a totally different season if Rogers is at the helm.

Rogers - Zack Wilson? You're talking a sure Hall of Famer vs a guy who may be out of the league next year. Huge difference.

Rodgers wasn’t guaranteed to be that great this year . He kinda sucked in 2022 and he’s not getting younger

Even if he was solid probably isn’t getting that team 11 wins

Jets were kinda lucky to have 7 wins

Those guys are not good enough to make up for a horrid offensive line

Dolphins had a lot more preseason value than Jets

I’ll do the same bet with you next year

McDaniel may be the worst coach in the NFL right now and looks completely lost, overmatched and overwhelmed on the sidelines. Tactically, he's a simpleton and too socially awkward to inspire confidence. He looks and sounds like a space cadet not a football coach.

The Dolphins obviously need a real coach, so unless they bring in a Belichick, Vrabel or even Carroll, I wouldn't even assume they're making the playoffs next season.

Since Brady left it's been Josh Allen's division and unless his AFC East rivals move the needle by drafting a stud QB and/or acquire a top notch coach, they are all pretty much going to suck for a long time.

McDaniel still a better coach than McDermott, who will be gone if he doesn't win next two games

"Dolphins GM Chris Grier stated the team wants Tua Tagovailoa to be the long-term quarterback.

"An extension for Tua is expected to come in at least over $40 million per season.

"Via Pro Football Network reporter Adam Beasley."
