I have stayed out of the current royal threads because i have mixed feelings about what is going on....
While i like the guys that i have had contact with, and think that they are good people, and trying, i cant get past the fact that the "slow pays" continue, and the ownership issues that everyone keeps talking about...
In the currrent issue, i see both sides, and instead of jumping in and making accusations about things i dont know about, i have steered clear....but glad that makes you feel like you "got me".......
By the way, in all the contests i ever did with Royal, the players were all paid, and timely as well.....otherwise, i wouldnt have continued to work with them..
This whole Shrink and Pete departure is a bit surreal especially now that they are both apparantly banned.

Looks like Xpanda is jumping ship as well, a good poster.
We still have a great core of mods and posters here but with shrinks saavy business instincts don't be surprised if another "big fish" is landed at eog, I'm sure Ken is already "chumming" the Rx waters.

That's a result of Royal's reputation or lack of it. Not to mention their ownership, and them agreeing to pay, very strange. I would probably have been more inclined to believe the tapes if Royal was sticking to them from the get go.
It really is hard to trust a word that comes out of their mouths. If Royal came on here and said, "Hello Jay," I would check my birth certificate to confirm that was really my name. If they said the sky is blue, I would look up to check. How are you supposed to believe the word of a place that tried to fleece a guy out of $6,000 for an $11,000 withdrawal?
I have clearly stated, if it is the player on the tape, he is due nothing.
In the meantime, they are still a slow pay book that will stall you at any chance. They are probably not processing withdrawals tomorrow. It is a national holiday in Cape Verde.

If it was a concern of theirs, the new owners should have placed a clause in the contract so Shrink could not begin another gambling related website.
However, banning both he and widely liked General has certainly not helped the forum.

I feel like I'm in a haunted house!! This is a nightmare! How could you ban General and the Shrink? Their threads are by far the most popular, historically promting the most interest. Good business desicion my ass. ALL you have done is made everyone more interested in the what will happen on AUG 1ST.

This is absolutley fantastic news and a magnificent business decision. Ken is a manipulative scumbag and general is a worthless poster except if you count good luck and monitoring threads as having value. Congratulations to whoever engineered this decision, you are much better off without these two saps draining your site of whatever they can

The answer is obvious, ken is starting a new site and it got back to management that ken was recruiting posters for that site and organizing posters / concepts from the very site he sold to marty. Why would he be a welcome poster here, just like when peep started ogd, he was banned for no reason, ken is now on the recieving end of this logic. Truth is, fair or not, it makes sense. Let ken pay for advertising if he wants to promote the site here, let him go to site promotions etc..
Anyone who has dealt with ken knows how he plays every side possible and then some, its a necessary evil that he cannot post here without cause or reason and for those who fell victim to his own absurd agendas and blind banning in the past, its great to see.
