Do you think he is a winning sports bettor who can consistently find +EV bets? I mean, you tell me. I don't follow this clown, I just know saying the stuff he says is 99.99999% correlated with being a losing sports bettor. Over a large enough sample size he isn't making it over the threshold needed. He doesn't know how to exploit soft markets, he doesn't know anything about Xs and Os, coaching, analytics, math, markets, etc......He just doesn't.

I’ve known him for a few years. We share a love for model airplanes so that’s what we discuss. I will put it too you like this. If a poster does not post his picks daily or weekly and has an ongoing thread to back it up I don’t really pay much if any attention too them. Basically your picks and mobs picks are of equal value to me personally.
I don't get why he is any less of a welcher because it was on the internet. The price of the bet was being able to stay on an internet forum for two years, so I think he should honor that. Most people should.

Bit of a copout answer but fair enough. If a player is just blindly putting out picks, you still can't really tell if they have any edge. Problem is a lot of guys on this site will bet shaded numbers or they will say they got .5 the best of the line or they will just run good. You can run good for a few hundred plays easily.
The best way to tell if someone has any edge or knowledge base in a sport is to listen to them talk about it. The best way to tell if they are sharp bettors is if they are consistently beating the closing line. There are other ways but that's the two main ones IMO.
re: my own plays, if you read me in the offshore I like to talk picks, debate about teams/players, you can't really do that in a picks thread. People just want picks. If you ever see me give a pick offshore, you definitely see me posting atleast 3-4 lines about the particular game. That's not what picks threads really for.
Also, there's just no upside. Look at Mob and how jaded/bitter he is from all his years posting in the picks section. Lot of people in there that just looking to blame you when they fire and lose. Unless you trying to go tout or something.

Even if you read the thread that was debating if he should be banned, it's crazy how few of these people you see posting much at all anymore.
