Alright let me rephrase. I've had one job in my life that was for someone else. It was a grocery store for two weeks which I quit on labor day to go jet skiing with my girlfriend(4 years ago. Since then I've sold weed and mostly hustled to make money, which went well, until last Summer when my supplier was clipped and sent off to prison for awhile. How would I go about getting a job and what type of job? I'm currently in school, and I do dress well. I'm 24.
$5K a month after taxes is about a $100,000 salary, not easy to come by. Even a $60K salary -- $5,000/month before taxes -- is scare right now.
I have to admit, that while I wish him well, it's tough for me to feel too sorry for a 24-year-old weed dealer who finds himself suddenly in a hole for 10 large.
He's in Iowa City they don't have any ponies/casino's any form of gambling so this should help him save money!
Don't go from one vice to another, work your ass off for a year with a job at your local quik-mart and put all the money in the till and pay your living expenses with this income.
Then get a second full-time job anywhere thats hiring. Put this pay in the bank and after 6 months off working your buns off I imagine you'll have a new outlook...
BTW you may qualify for some relief by the Goverment on your student loan? Good Luck
wow- curious -know what you are majoring in? You dont exactly sound like fireball----when you quit to go jet skiing you are not allowed to whine about having no dough--its a trade off sir--play and enjoy-or work and get ahead-- gl which ever you choose--p.s.--take the phillies to win the WS and you should do fine!!!!!!
