Been going bald since I was 12.
Doesn't really bother me, I look at it this way, I'll play the hand God dealt me.

I like what Tommy Hagler said when asked why he was bald.
"because grass don't grow on a busy street"

What are the alternative routes besides just shaving it off/rogaine/propecia. How much does like hair plugs cost(what exactly are they? What about like toupees.. etc

Get a good education!

Number 1 answer on the board.

If I have to, I will donate and bribe my future kids into an Ivy League.

Look at all the Fortune 500 companies. BCS schools employee managers and workers and the Ivy employ the Board of Directors and everyone with a 3 letter titles like CEO, CFO, etc.

To me there is only one answer: PASSION

Find something you are passionate about and then work harder then anyone else at it to be successfull.

You have to know the right people. It's all about who you know and the connections you can make.

One should not really obsess about going bald, IMO !

Lots more important stuff, than that.

Just shave your head

I'm starting to get the horsehoe thing in front ( at 45), still have 85% left, my Dad was nearly cueball bald at 50ish, still went for haircuts at a barber ! Rather a waste of time.

I started shaving my head ( nearly), about 10 years ago. I don't "shave" it, actually... just trim it as close as possible with the Wahl trimmer ( $20 at Walmart), about once a month. I quit going to a barber for that, you can't fuck it up. I use the same thing to shave my beard, about weekly, so I generally have a 3 day beard on average.

Hair is over-rated ! I hate the unwanted hair that grows around my ( * ), out my ears and nose, eyebrows now need regular trimming too, or I'll look like Andy Rooney. FUCK HAIR ! I'd gladly eliminate every hair on my body permanently. I'm not the hairy back type, either !

I don't have much left on top anymore. Sigh! I hear all these adds for hair transplants, but I'm just going to let my baldness happen.

Success means different things to different people...ie job, family, other achievements, etc. The more interesting question would be how everyone defines success.

But if you are talking about the more generic job related success "be the best at whatever you do" then passion and doing what you want to do is a good start. It helps to ask alot of questions and read/learn from those that have been successful. Define what success is to you personally is first, build a roadmap or plan to get to that definition. Make adjustments along the way. Work harder then those around you so that luck finds you more often because in alot of ways luck is as important as anything to get to your own definition of success.

But you have got to put yourself in position to be lucky which means be organized in your job and over communicate your intentions to those above you that have the authority to make you more successful.
