And that's why I wanted them ASAP to get feedback here

Yeah. I'd take the plunge but I won't be ready for them until 9/1 at earliest anyway, so holding off for some feedback. Barring anything negative I'll be buying.

How long does the manual update on the beast take? Other than the memory and the auto update, they get all the same channels, movies ect?

Did we ever determine how long delay?

I have coworkers video he sent me but doesn't make sense to me because the box was faster than antenna and looks like he filmed it with a microwave. I will run the CNN test this weekend if I don't get called out to work. I will also ask engineers if they can give me some feedback on this as well. The small tv is the one running the box as you can see in the beginning. Like I said it's a shitty video with his phone

The Savage has 9 premium services. ( only 4-5 are good) vs the Beast has 3 Premium service. Biggest issue with Beast is the manual updates on add ons. There's been major shakeup in the repo world and until they settle down...will be quite a few updates going on. Savage box you get to pick east or west coast server as well to trick the ISP provider in allowing you to get home teams without blackouts. Beast box you will have to use VPN to get home teams.

Interested in getting one in first week of September how long do they take to get?

I bought extra this time around and should have only took two weeks but I guess factory couldn't keep up with us ordering 500 boxes a week for the first three weeks for a total of 1500 boxes. I will place another order as soon as these come in. I want to be stocked up for the big fight coming on UFC and football season

I'm the least educated on this subject. I'm here in WA. the state with Seattle. Get all the regular channels 4,5,7,11,13. I have Comcast now and paying $120 a month for basic cable, Internet which I only have an Apple IPad. I have no PC. I think it's wifi. So you mean I would be able to watch all tge NFL games including college football, baseball, and NBA next season also? Do these boxes last years to come? They are not illegal are they? Lol. Seems like the cable company's would hate this.

So all these 9 premium services available with the purchase of the box will be available for free for ever? Or after a period you will have to pay for the ones that you want to keep?

Yes sports and we have 3 other boxes still supporting and they are 3 -4 years old. These boxes are like cell phones, every year something bigger and better comes out but we still support older boxes. Yes they are legal as long as you aren't downloading.

Life of the box... Box has 15 month warranty and we still support boxes 3-4 years old. If it has our logo...we stand behind our products. There's only one service I recommend signing up when you get the box but is not needed. It's called real debrid. It's to allow you to stream movies via private server and we have a section dedicated for it. It's something I can help set up and its cheap... just off the top of my head its 90 days is 10 dollars, 180 days is 20 dollars and 360 days is 32-40...can't remember. And it can be used for multiple boxes in same network.

I should add anything is always subject to change of course.

Thanks for answering. Are these boxes used for the Internet also or would I need to stick with Comcast for the Internet? Yep TVG horses. Used to watch that all the time like 15 years ago. I'd have no idea how to set it up.

You can cut the cord on cable, but you have to have Internet for these to work.

Matt is correct... You will need high speed internet to run the box. I suggest Ethernet connection whenever possible but does work WiFi. To hook the box up is easy... connect the HDMI cable and power cord to box and if Ethernet connected, plug in and play.

Ok. Thanks. My brother is the wiz when it comes to setting things up. I don't know if I have high speed Internet or what. So the box pays for it self in just a few months with getting all the sports channels. So you say it gets NBA TV also when the season starts again? I don't know what Ethernet is. Never heard of it. But like you said its easy to set up. TTYL
