Got my savage today as well. Had it set-up and running in no time. Tony helped me with a few things for initial set-up.

There's so much stuff on there it's going to take some time to navigate and review everything. Box seems super fast and responsive. Can't wait to test out sports.

I have Comcast Xfinity. I have it plugged directly into the Comcast modem with an Ethernet cable and it is running great with no lag. Haven't attempted it over Wi-Fi.

Got my box and set it up, took a look and was a bit overwhelmed! I sent a text to Daigo and he called me up and spent about 45 minutes explaining everything to me and tweaking a few things. I haven't had time to watch much yet but I must say I am very impressed and Daigo could not be more helpful. I will give an update after I have a chance to watch a little more but I would have to say that I am very happy with my purchase at this point.

Watching the movie Dunkirk right now and I am very impressed with box! It is much better quality than what I thought it might be. I won't lie though, there is going to be a bit of learning to find all the channels and how best to access.

Yes sir and that's why I offer the 30 day money back with no questions asked. It takes time to learn and once you see how it works, it gets easier. There are shortcuts to to fine tune box but I like for my customers to learn it first before showing the tips and tricks to make it easier. It helps make you understand how it works. You do have to have patience and understand the trade off vs cable bill. Anyways great talking to you and we are always available. Thanks again for the review.

Is there a channel guide?

There are for some things but not a complete guide for all channels like you have with cable. For example, there is a guide for all the sports channels, but that particular guide will not reflect anything on major networks, movie channels, etc. it will just be the guide for any sports related channels (literally every sports, rugby, cricket, plus all the major ones and the suite of ESPN channels)

MCM, how do like the box so far, thinking about buying one

So far I like the box. It has a lot to offer. There is a learning curve to it. It is not like pressing a number and going to a channel you have to open up APPS and go from there. The only problem I see is that you have to remember where everything is. There is no TV guide. It offers just about everything I have on my Directv package which cost me $110. No premium. The savage offers HBO,STZ,Cinmax,Showtime. They only difference is convenience. The DTV is easier.

The NFL,MLB,NBA,NHL, packages alone pays for one season pays for the box. The quality is great for live sporting events that I have watched.

There are tons of movie options. 4K and 3D. I watched a couple of 4K the quality was great. Lots of music choices to pick from.

For me the box is a great add on to my DTV. The only reason I say this because my wife would never go through all the gyrations of looking for her channels.

I figure I have all the sport packages which saves me money plus all of the movie channel which I will not be paying for. Also which I almost forgot you have the PPV.

All in all it's a great value no matter what you do. If you cut the cord or not.

That's what I'm planning on doing. Take the lowest DTV package with no PPV, movie channels, or sports packaages - and supplement it with 1 savage in the living room.

If I want to watch a movie or ppv or sports I can use the savage. Reg TV I will use the dish.
