I have not seen or heard of this before:

"Socialist International regularly blasts the construction of fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border. The fence was approved by both houses of Congress, including with Mr. Obama's vote in the Senate."

Obama actually voted for this while in the Senate. WTF!!!!!!!!!

More Obama bullshit

Friends of ALIPAC,

We have just learned that President Obama plans to make a speech tomorrow to push his Amnesty agenda. We had hoped that ALIPAC's effort to push US Senator Lindsay Graham away from the negotiating table would buy us enough time to get through the elections without a huge battle over Amnesty legislation.

We are not sure what exactly is happening. Some of our advisers think that the recent death of US Senator Robert Byrd, who consistently opposed any form of Comprehensive Immigration Amnesty, may have emboldened Obama and the Amnesty backers. There are also strong rumors that Obama will try to give millions of illegals amnesty via some kind of executive order!

Another motivation for Obama's pep speech tomorrow may be that over 20 states now have legislators planning versions of Arizona's SB 1070 and the illegal aliens are leaving Arizona in droves! Many are heading home to Mexico, many are headed to your state. Amnesty backers fear that a mass exodus of illegal aliens from the US would destroy their push for Amnesty and permanent open borders in America.

We will be ready to respond to Obama tomorrow, but today we must immediately launch our second funds drive for 2010.

We hope that many of you will respond quickly and strongly to this call for funds, as we must raise a minimum of $30,000 by August 15. We hope that you will respond quickly so our efforts can stay focused on stopping Amnesty and launching our broader candidate operations to help us sweep the Congress in November.

We will send you more information soon, about some of the projects that we want to attempt with our limited funding this year, in future emails.

Stand With Arizona (and Against Illegal Immigration) Go Tony! With (lame) protests against the Diamondbacks at his stadium today, demanding to move the All-Star game out of AZ, La Russa spoke out: "I'm actually supportive of what AZ's doing. If the National government doesn't fix your problem, you've got to take care of it yourself. It's just the American Way." Go Cardinals! ALIPAC's response to ass in Chiefs speech

Obama's Speech Misleads Americans on Illegal Immigration & Amnesty

July 1, 2010

CONTACT: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)
(866) 703-0864 WilliamG@alipac.us

ALIPAC is responding to President Obama's immigration speech by calling on him to abandon his push for Amnesty for illegal aliens and to honor his oath of office and the requirements of the US Constitution by enforcing America's existing border and immigration laws.

"We call on all candidates for Congress to clearly state their opposition to Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "President Obama is committing a form of Treason against the American public by refusing to adequately enforce our existing immigration and border laws at the behest Global corporations and financial influences intent upon usurping the self-governance of the American public. Americans want immigration enforcement, instead of Obama's Amnesty and we expect voters to punish Amnesty supporters in the 2010 elections."

Obama mischaracterized legal immigrants in today's speech, as he criticized Arizona's new law, SB 1070, which is now being considered in more than twenty states!

Obama cited the contributions of Albert Einstein, Nicola Tesla, and many other legal immigrants to the United States. It is patently insulting and a cheap political trick to compare law abiding legal immigrants with illegal aliens who willingly violate a series of US laws to take what is not theirs and what is not freely given by American citizens.

"Obama's speech was the same old tricks, since he confused legal immigrants with illegal aliens, and offered the false choice of blanket amnesty vs. mass deportations," said William Gheen. "Obama is trying to trick the American public by confusing legal and illegal and offering false choices, instead of doing his job properly."

Obama's speech was made at American University, which is where Dr. Robert Pastor has advocated the formation of a North American Community, which has been called a North American Union by those opposed to the components of the plan that calls for a path to citizenship for illegal aliens. Obama also used the words 'Security and Prosperity' in his speech to convey his support for the Pastor plan, which was manifest during the Bush administration as the Security and Prosperity Partnership or SPP.

ALIPAC is launching a revised website at www.AgainstAmnesty.com to help Americans track, spread, and pass versions of Arizona's immigration laws in other states. Twenty states are currently listed.

ALIPAC will launch candidate surveys and pledges to all Federal candidates on July 5th that are designed to help voters determine which candidates support or oppose the Bush/Obama Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty plan. ALIPAC intends to endorse candidates who oppose the plan, while encouraging Americans to contribute to and volunteer on those endorsed campaigns.

"We encourage our political opposition to make sure their candidates proudly display their support for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty," said William Gheen. "We will encourage our candidates to display their opposition. That way, the American public can clear many of these traitors out of office this year."

How Eisenhower handled illegal immigration back in 1954
If he were president today the LSM would be calling for impeachment. Why you ask? Because he was looking out for the U.S. and he didn’t pull any punches. As for being politically correct, it didn’t exist, the name of the initiative was Operation Wetback.

The effort began in California and Arizona, and coordinated 1075 Border Patrol agents, along with state and local police agencies, to mount an aggressive crackdown. Tactics employed included going as far as systematic police sweeps of Mexican-American neighborhoods, and random stops and ID checks of "Mexican-looking" people in a region with many Native Americans and native Hispanics. In some cases, illegal immigrants were deported along with their American-born minor dependent children.

This occurred despite the fact the children were, according to the Supreme Court's interpretation of the 14th amendment, citizens of the United States. Some 750 agents targeted agricultural areas with a goal of 1000 apprehensions per day. By the end of July, over 50,000 immigrants were caught in the two states. An estimated 488,000 illegal immigrants are claimed to have left voluntarily, for fear of being apprehended. By September, 80,000 had been taken into custody in Texas, and the INS estimates that 500,000 to 700,000 had left Texas of their accord. To discourage illicit re-entry, buses and trains took many deportees deep within Mexican territory, prior to releasing them.

Restaurateur sentenced on illegal-immigrant charges
Norwalk man owned Mexican eatery in Oregon
By ERICA BLAKE
BLADE STAFF WRITER

Ramon J. Ornelas had succeeded in life in the United States by creating a string of Mexican restaurants in northern Ohio and availing himself of the opportunities of his new country, a federal court judge said yesterday.

But his employment of dozens of illegal immigrants and his failure to pay taxes on their incomes required a prison term to serve as both punishment and a deterrent.

Ornelas, 43, of Norwalk, Ohio, was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Toledo to one year and one day in prison. He pleaded guilty in February to eight counts of harboring and concealing illegal aliens, three counts of mail fraud, and seven counts of subscribing to a false tax return.

Judge Jack Zouhary sentenced him to one year for each count but ordered that they be served concurrently.

Immigration officials said Ornelas, who had legal permanent resident status, will face a deportation judge after he serves his sentence.

"You pulled yourself up here in America, the land of opportunity, and opened a chain of restaurants. I take that into consideration," Judge Zouhary said. "There is a seriousness to this crime. The government has taken a position on illegal immigration … and my sentence must promote respect for the law."

Federal charges were filed against Ornelas in January. Authorities said search warrants were executed at eight of Ornelas' restaurants in Ohio, which resulted in 58 undocumented Mexican nationals being taken into custody. Ornelas is the principal owner of Casa Fiesta Mexican restaurants in Oregon, Sandusky, Youngstown, Vermilion, Ashland, Norwalk, Fremont, and Oberlin.
In addition to the concealing charges, Ornelas pleaded guilty to filing false federal tax records for not claiming the undocumented workers and therefore underreporting the taxes owed to the Internal Revenue Service. According to Assistant U.S. Attorney David Bauer, the amount owed the federal government was $178,000 over a period of three years.

The mail fraud convictions were the result of filing false Ohio Contribution Reports by underpaying $11,124 in taxes due the state for unemployment insurance for those workers he did not report.

Mr. Bauer noted that Ornelas benefited economically from the hiring of undocumented workers and asked the judge to send a message to employers that immigration laws exist and will be enforced.

As part of his sentence, the judge also ordered the forfeiture of $62,546 taken from eight of his restaurants during execution of the July, 2008, search warrant and a Vermilion home he owned where several undocumented workers lived.

With the assistance of an interpreter, Ornelas apologized for his actions and offered an assurance that he had learned his lesson. He added that he did not realize that his decisions would lead to such severe consequences.

"I will accept, of course, your decision. It's my responsibility to pay for my errors," he said. "I'm asking for an opportunity."

Ornelas' 16-year-old son, Ramon, spoke during the sentencing hearing, asking the judge to give his father another chance. He said that his family has been torn apart and that his father understood the crime that he had committed.

"I'm going to be a senior this year in high school. I would like him to see me graduate from high school," the teenager said tearfully. "I just ask that you give him another chance."

Immigration officials confirmed that Ornelas' current wife is also undocumented and is in the process of deportation. He is the father of five, ages 20, 16, 11, 6, and 1.

Judge Zouhary noted prior to the sentence that immigration officials had four times been in contact with Ornelas when he was a manager of his brother's restaurant. The restaurant had been fined for employing illegal workers.

"We have a bit of a history before this incident," he said. "You knew it was wrong but what surprised you was the penalties and sanctions."

The judge also noted how families are affected by these charges and offered sympathy. He added that he hoped that Ornelas could serve his time and still make it to his son's graduation.

"Given the timing of all this, I suspect you'll still be around to see young Ramon's graduation when you get out," he said

No Concern For U.S. Unemployed In President's Big Amnesty Speech This Morning | NumbersUSA - For Low
www.numbersusa.com
Once again Pres. Obama has shown that he considers immigration to be primarily a game of political calculation rather than an issue that deeply affects how many millions of U.S. workers must remain unemployed.

Obama cannot connect the dots. What is new there. The sad thing is he doesn't really care. He has his agenda and nothing else matters.

NumbersUSA Responds to President Obama's Hypocritical Speech Calling for Amnesty

By Rosemary Jenks, Thursday, July 1, 2010, 12:45 PM EDT - posted on NumbersUSA</SPAN>
picture-65.jpg
On Thursday, President Obama gave a speech at American University in Washington D.C., blaming partisan politics for Congress' inability to pass comprehensive immigration reform (amnesty). The President also noted that our borders are as secure as they have been in decades and that America's immigration laws are unenforceable.
In an incredibly hypocritical statement, the President said that employers must be held accountable for knowingly hiring illegal aliens, despite the fact that under his administration, the Department of Homeland Security has virtually stopped criminal prosecutions of employers who hire illegal aliens and has completely stopped ICE's worksite enforcement actions. On top of this, President Obama's Justice Department is asking the Supreme Court to overturn Arizona's mandatory E-Verify law -- a law that is proving effective at getting unemployed Arizonans back to work. Perhaps the President is unaware that 25 million Americans cannot find a full-time job, while an estimated 7 million illegal aliens hold non-agricultural American jobs.
The President's contention that America's borders are more secure than they've been in decades is ludicrous His claim would come as a major surprise to the law enforcement officials and ranchers who have been shot or shot at in recent months by illegal aliens and to the human and drug smugglers operating there with impunity. All of which he would know if he took the time to visit the border and talk to those trying to secure it or to those living near it.
Laws? What laws?

President Obama maintained the fallacy that the United States' immigration laws are simply unenforceable. I'm not sure how the President would know this, as he has actively prevented them from being enforced. When he took his oath of office and swore to faithfully execute the laws of the land, he didn't say. "except those laws I don't like....like immigration laws."
Unfortunately, he was specific about one thing: his support for an amnesty for the 11-18 million illegal aliens living in the United States. Even though he admitted that these individuals came here to take jobs from US workers who desperately need them, he still wants Congress to give them an amnesty so they can permanently keep the jobs they've stolen from unemployed legal workers. In fact, apparently wanting to ensure that no illegal alien is left behind, the President called on Congress to pass three amnesties---the DREAM Act, AgJOBS, and blanket amnesty as part of comprehensive immigration reform. It is disappointing that the 7 million illegal aliens with non-agricultural jobs are more important to the President than the 25 million Americans who are unable to find full-time work.
Finally, his politicization of the issue is offensive. The President talked about all the different groups he's met with, representing all kinds of views, faiths, and beliefs. Unfortunately, the only groups he hasn't met with are those who represent the American people, who oppose amnesty and his apparent plan to ratchet up already too high legal immigration levels. He claims that Republicans are the ones blocking comprehensive immigration reform. However, the last time I checked, Democrats control both the House and the Senate, and if President Obama does not have the votes to force an amnesty through Congress, it is because many Democrats, like most Republicans, actually represent their constituents and oppose amnesty.

I just saw a poll where 59% said we should secure the borders before we pass any new immigration laws. Let me see, maybe it would make sense to see if the laws we already have are effective when and if they are enforced. Too good to be true but sure as hell makes sense. Maybe not something that would come out of a Harvard round table discussion cause it is just to common sensical. Common Sense, where I have heard those words before.

You Don't Speak for Me!" is a Hispanic-American coalition organized by Dan Stein, president of the "anti-illegal immigration" [1] Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR)[1]; Stein's name does not appear on the group's website.[2]
FAIR president Dan Stein wrote in his May 1, 2006, The Dan Stein Report:
"You Don't Speak for Me!" formed "when Col. Al Rodríguez [2] became fed up watching media coverage of the mass protests of April. 'Their leaders were saying it was a march for immigrant rights and a Latino/Hispanic movement,' says Rodriguez. 'I thought to myself, Hey, those are illegal aliens, not immigrants! Col. Rodriguez began speaking out to others saying, 'I'm of Hispanic ancestry and those people are acting like they speak for me. Well, you don't speak for me!'"http://www.dontspeakforme.org
