Is the Obama strategy in place to end American sovereignty?

Excerpt from World Net Daily article:

“The Obama administration has developed a contingency plan for millions of Mexicans to flee the drug war by coming across the southern border as illegal immigrants.

Rather than turn back the refugees at the border, the Obama administration is planning to create tent cities to house and feed the millions fleeing Mexico.

""With Obama administration political correctness, no one will be permitted to call these so-called refugees anything as direct or honest as illegal immigrants,"" Corsi wrote.”

Sound unbelievable?

Rumors of Obama’s stealth plan for the admission of an additional 10% of Mexico’s population have reached the ears of members of the House Immigration Reform Caucus (IRC) and their concerns have been mounting.

This was verified by a member of the IRC in a phone call yesterday.
………………………………………………………………………………

The Obama administration may be planning to house millions of Mexico’s citizens, fleeing the Mexican drug wars, in tent cities on the U.S. side of the border with Mexico.

Designating the illegal aliens as ‘refugees’, Obama may release millions of Mexican citizens into our country. Obama will try to convince the American people that Mexico is so dangerous that it would be ‘inhumane’ to send the so-called ‘refugees’ home.
.
Amnesty will be justified as the only recourse for these ‘refugees’ and the 20-30 million illegal aliens already residing in America.

Certain facts expose the Obama agenda:

Obama could easily put the military/national guard at the border to stop the flow of drugs into the U.S.

Although the Obama administration says nowhere in Mexico is a safe haven for citizens, this too is a falsehood. The warring factions are concentrated in northern Mexico, along the border—frightened citizens could relocate within their own country, but Obama may be implementing a plan that will bring them into the United States instead.

There is no plausible reason to treat them as ‘refugees’.
Guns from America are being blamed for arming the drug cartels, but the Mexican government will not release the serial numbers of guns that have been confiscated according to Tom Tancredo in a Larry King Live interview on March 28, 2009. He states the guns are being supplied by the Mexican army.

Obama will be have his ‘stealth’ amnesty if we do not demand our Congress expose and defeat this treachery. Your participation is vital!!!
………………………………………………………………………………………………

Find Contact Information for your Senators and Congressman @ http://www.congress.org/

Possible talking points for phone calls, emails and faxes:

  • Is the Senator/Congressman aware that Obama may have plans to house and feed illegal immigrants in tent cities in America, falsely claiming they are ‘refugees’ of Mexico’s drug wars?

  • The American people will not fall for Obama’s false claims that another 10% of Mexico’s population belongs in the United States because they are ‘refugees’ with no other options.

  • Why is the Senator/Congressman not demanding the national guard/military be placed at the border to stop the inflow of drugs to America?

  • Where is the proof that guns purchased in America are arming the drug cartels in Mexico? Americans will refuse to give up their 2nd Amendment rights on false premises.

  • Will the Senator/Congressman support Obama’s stealth attempt to undermine the sovereignty of the United States by permitting the invasion of the United States by millions of additional foreign nationals?

  • No amnesty, no path to citizenship is acceptable. Enforce immigration laws now!!!

Orange County California Newspaper

This is a very good letter to the editor. This woman made some good points. For some reason, people have difficulty structuring their arguments when arguing against supporting the currently proposed immigration revisions. This lady made the argument pretty simple. NOT printed in the Orange County Paper.........

Newspapers simply won't publish letters to the editor which they either deem politically incorrect (read below) or which does not agree with the philosophy they're pushing on the public This woman wrote a great letter to the editor that should have been published; but, with your help it will get published via cyberspace!

From: 'David LaBonte'

My wife, Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which, of course, was not printed. So, I decided to 'print' it myself by sending it out on the Internet. Pass it along if you feel so inclined. Written in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County Register:

Dear Editor:

So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented . Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.

They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them.
No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany , Italy , France , and Japan . None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan . They were defending the United States of America as one people.

When we liberated France , no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German- American or the Irish-American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are in 2008 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges, only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.

And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

(signed) Rosemary LaBonte

The letter addresses the insistence of some members of the Obama Cabinet to move forward “quickly” or “soon” on implementing a new cross-border program with Mexico now that the pilot program established under the Bush administration had its funding pulled in mid-March.
“On behalf of our nation’s small business trucking professionals, I respectfully call upon you to suspend any immediate plans to establish another cross-border trucking program,” Johnston wrote in his letter to Obama.
“That is, at least until the Mexican government and your administration are able to irrefutably ensure that Mexico-domiciled motor carriers, their trucks and their drivers are strictly compliant with U.S. safety, security and environmental standards.”
Johnston recognized the Obama administration’s “integrity and intent” to comply with the North American Free Trade Agreement, but those intentions cannot be placed ahead of the well-being of U.S. citizens.
The U.S. trucking industry is heavily regulated with a tall order of safety, security and environmental regs that truckers and trucking companies must abide by.
“Mexico-domiciled trucking companies and drivers simply do not contend with a similar regulatory regime in their home country nor must they contend with the corresponding regulatory compliance costs that encumber their U.S. counterparts,” Johnston wrote.
A lot of the current ruckus seems to center on what some perceive to be the obligations of the U.S. under NAFTA and a 2001 tribunal decision that found the U.S. in violation of the agreement.
Johnston pointed out that the treaty states that the U.S. has “the right to ‘adopt, maintain or apply any standards-related measure, including any such measure relating to safety, the protection of human, animal or plant life or health, the environment or consumers, and any measure to ensure its enforcement or implementation’ provided that such measures must be applied in a non-discriminatory manner.”
As far as the tribunal decision goes, it essentially gave the U.S. more latitude in structuring any sort of cross-border program with Mexico.
“Even though a NAFTA Arbitral Panel decided in 2001 that the U.S. was in violation of NAFTA for failing to process the applications of motor carriers to operate within the United States, it affirmed the right of the U.S. to ‘set the level of protection that they consider appropriate in pursuit of legitimate regulatory objectives,’ including the ‘safety of trucking services,’ ” Johnston wrote in his letter to Obama.
“The Arbitral panel did not require the United States to provide ‘favorable consideration to all or to any specific number of applications from Mexico-domiciled trucking companies, when it is evident that a particular applicant or applicants may be unable to comply with U.S. trucking regulations when operating in the United States.’ ”
In a nutshell, Johnston pointed out that the U.S. is allowed to establish safety standards and deny Mexico-based motor carriers authority to operate in the U.S. because the company cannot meet those safety standards.
“Whether or not Mexico-domiciled trucks and drivers can meet our standards is the Mexican government’s responsibility, just as it would be our responsibility to comply with any reasonable safety and environmental regulation Mexico may impose,” Johnston wrote.
“On behalf of our nation’s small business trucking professionals, I only ask that your Administration follow the laws that Congress has put in place to ensure that Mexico-domiciled trucking companies and truck drivers comply with the same level of safety, security and environmental standards that already apply to U.S.-based companies and drivers.”

How about a hand for Nebraska

States Pass E-Verify Laws

Update

Nebraska Governor to Sign Mandatory E-Verify Bill

Wednesday, April 8, 2009, 9:51 AM

nebraska0407.jpeg

Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman is expected to sign into law today LB 403, a bill that would require state and local governments to check whether new hires are eligible to work in the U.S., and to verify a person's legal status before receiving public benefits.
The bill was introduced by state Sen. Russ Karpisek and received 44 votes with none against, although five Senators didn't vote.
The bill will mandate the use of the E-Verify employment verification system by state and local agencies and their contractors for any new hires after October 1, 2009. Although it does not require private employers to use E-Verify, it creates certain incentives to do so. For example, a variety of economic development tax incentives will only be available to those entities that use E-Verify for new hires.
The bill also would limit eligibility for public benefits to citizens and legal residents, and would require public-benefit applicants to attest to their legal status. State and local agencies would be required to use the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements Program (SAVE) system, which is administered by the Department of Homeland Security, to check benefit eligibility. These provisions also would take effect on October 1.
See all the states that have passed mandatory E-Verify requirements. http://www.numbersusa.com/content/n...ka-governor-sign-touger-immigration-bill.html E-verify: www.smartbusinesspractices.com/pilot

Victoria, Texas (pop. 55,000) is a town about 80 miles west of Houston ...

Local Hispanic leaders there, in opposition to pending Immigration Legislation, boycotted all Caucasian owned businesses in the Victoria area this past weekend as a demonstration of their economic impact on the community. The boycott was declared a success by the Hispanic community, noting that revenue in Caucasian owned businesses was down by 19%.

Business owners declared the boycott a success as well, pointing out that shoplifting was reduced by 77%, money orders sent out of the country were down by 97%, and the cost of daily clean-up and trash collection was down by 84%. Shoppers reported that they could actually hear English being spoken throughout the community for the first time in recent memory, and customers actually paid for purchases with real money, not government debit cards...

Together we CAN get things done!

Result of Citizen Opposition -- One Wealthy Foundation To Stop Funding Amnesty?

By Roy Beck, Sunday, April 12, 2009, 9:11 PM
picture-21.png
A tiny bit of hopeful evidence emerges that consistent, long-term and substantial U.S. citizen opposition to the open-borders agenda may eventually back off some of the wealthiest foundations that are funding the pro-amnesty efforts. A report on the website of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation suggests that the foundation is leaving the political arena on immigration because of the great disappointment that U.S. citizens rose up to defeat all the amnesty attempts in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Way to go, all you citizens!
I'm constantly being asked why politicians won't end illegal immigration and reduce overall immigration numbers when that is what most Americans would prefer. Part of the answer is that these gigantic foundations are pouring so much money into forcing the open-borders agenda.
According to the Knight Foundation report:
In 2003, Knight joined with Ford, Carnegie and others to launch the Four Freedoms Fund, designed to encourage immigrant civic engagement. A year and a half later, Knight redirected $2 million of the Four Freedoms money, and pumped in an additional $4 million, into the American Dream Fund.
I recently wrote to you about the pro-amnesty coalition's claim that they will wage an $18-million campaign to pass an amnesty by this fall. I also told you that the financing for these huge open-borders campaigns comes from a consortium of foundations led by Carnegie, Ford and Soros.
Now, as Knight Foundation assesses the effectiveness of the American Dream Fund, it is doing so with new leadership and new program staff who are more skeptical of awarding grants to organizations explicitly involved in policy advocacy. They say Knight is redirecting the fund to focus more narrowly on naturalization.
Hooray! Please let us know if you see signs that Knight is spending money on amnesty advocacy instead of just helping immigrants to become citizens.
The Knight Foundation tried to create political pressure for amnesty in all the cities where the old Knight-Ridder newspaper chain operated. It is almost as though Knight's way of striking back at communities that failed to make their newspapers rich was to figure out how to flood their local labor markets with more foreign workers.
Unfortunately for Knight, the citizens of their communities -- joining with Americans across the land -- rose up in opposition to the foundations' attempt to accelerate the radical changing of America. NumbersUSA -- with less than 10% of the funding of just one open-borders group (the National Council of La Raza) -- has led citizen opposition that has stopped every amnesty attempt since 2000 (after six amnesties passed in the 1990s, following the blanket amnesty of 1986).
The Knight report states:
As to the old focus, one that permitted and encouraged policy advocacy, foundation staff say they’re unsure if dollars applied toward advocacy had any impact.
'There’s always a question in my mind of proportion,” said Damian Thorman, Knight’s national program officer, who joined the foundation last year. “We spent millions of dollars. Did it make millions of dollars of impact? That’s an open question.'
It is pretty clear that the elites who run many of the nation's foundations assumed that if they agreed on amnesty with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the President of the United States and the globalist Utopians occupying many of the top positions of the national media and religious organizations, that surely U.S. citizens would sit back and let them run the show.
But you didn't sit back.
Every day, I read comments to this blog expressing discouragement and a cynical belief that nothing that citizens do can make a difference. You have made a big difference for 8 years now in holding back the elitist grand plan for forcing endless, massive population growth, congestion and social change through increased immigration. Your strength has shocked a lot of people.
One woman was quoted in the Knight Foundation article about efforts at "comprehensive immigration reform" (amnesty) of the last three years:
'[Our grantees] actually came very close,' she said, adding that the funding partners didn’t count on such an 'aggressive backlash' from those opposed to the idea. '[Our grantees] did come up with a pretty comprehensive, bipartisan bill. It got very far. We were very much involved in that. We did increase immigrant civic participation dramatically.'
You/we must not stop our "aggressive backlash." On your behalf over just the last three days (our computers tell us), we have delivered more than 150,000 of the faxes that you personally ordered, edited and wrote to Members of Congress and the White House!
I would ask you to make sure that the staffers answering the phones for your 3 Members of Congress hear from you this week. When they return to Washington a week from now they have to know that gigantic PR campaign being waged by the rich foundations for the DREAM Act and other amnesties is aggressively opposed by their voting constituents.

"We The People" must fight on until these weak politicians understand we mean for them to stop this illegal immigration, it is time that they understand they took an "OATH" to serve and protect the good citizens of This Great Republic. I really do not care how many times we have to "VOTE" in new representation until we get persons that live up to their "OATH" to protect and serve. I personally think we should stop all immigration until we can get a serious set of rules and enforcement to find out who we have here and what their motives really are. This Great Old Republic just can't handle anymore foolish mistakes, from our representation in our Congress. Neighbors, fight on and fight hard we can win this fight if we stay the course. R. C. Perhaps it's time to tax the activist churches. They sure want to benefit from our separation of church and state, but aren't holding up their part of the bargain.

What ALL TRUE CITIZENS should do is form a nation wide boycott of all the companies funding the breaking of our laws.
True they should be charged with aiding and abetting however the only laws to be enforced at present time is against the citizens not the lawbreakers!

".and the globalist Utopians occupying many of the top positions of the national media and religious organizations..."
The US Conference of Catholic Bishops is, I am saddened to say, one of the globalist Utopians Roy Beck is referring to.
I'm saddened because I am a Catholic and as a former legal immigrant and now a naturalized US Citizen it is abundantly apparent from my communications with the Catholic hierachy and clergy that they have no problem with migrants coming into the USA illegally and staying here illegally for as long as they like.
In fact, they will aid and abet them to this end.
Not once, in any sermon, have I ever heard any priest tell these illegal migrants that they must obey the laws of the US, go home and apply to get in legally, if, in fact, they qualify for a visa.
Until this extraodinary and emotional influence is eliminated or at least drastically reduced, those of us opposing open-borders and supporting a legal but fair process of immigration/migration will be hard-pressed to win this battle.
So my question is...how do Catholics oppose the USCCB without being labeled anti-Catholic or a dissenter from Catholic social teaching?
Perhaps I can answer my own question...by referring to paragraph 2241 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Any other suggestions on a course of action?

New Welfare benefits for the

Welfare benefits for the illegal alien relatives of Latino citizens is a cheap form of political patronage for etatist leftists. They desire social engineering and they go into foundation management to acheive it. Foundations like the Knight Foundation have boards whose directors agendas do not always match each other or the foundation staff. Some more foundations are going to go through the same change as Knight.

I'll be sure to keep on callin Reid and Titus! I always let them know that I feel they care only about "the vote" and NOT what is best for America.
It's so dang obvious!

Undocumented people should be paid correct wages and be embraced as people of hope. They, as a people, love America and want to contribute as knights, to protect you in times of trouble waters. This is my take on this here issue!

If these allegations are true, they are truly appalling. How can groups which claim to represent American workers support legislation that would harm American workers? Something about their support for amnesty seems slightly disingenuous. These groups claim to represent the interests of their members, yet they support legislation that would actually harm their members. Either the New York Times has misrepresented the facts or these labor unions are not acting in the best interests of their members. If the unions push for comprehensive amnesty, I urge you to oppose them with every opportunity. Any amnesty, no matter the size or scope, would harm American workers.
