Illegal Aliens Poetry

I cross border, poor and broke,

Take bus, see employment folk.

Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need to go see Welfare.

Welfare say, "You come no more,

We send cash right to your door".

Welfare checks, they make me wealthy,

Medicaid it keep me healthy!

By and by, Got plenty of money,

Thanks to you, TAXPAYER dummy.

Write to friends in motherland,

Tell them "come, fast as you can"

They come in droves and Ford trucks,

I buy big house with welfare bucks.

They come here, we live together,

More welfare checks, it gets better!

Fourteen families, they moving in,

But neighbor's patience wearing thin.

Finally, white guy moves away,

I buy his house, and then I say,

"Find more aliens for house to rent.

In my yard I put a tent".

Send for family - they just trash,

But they, too, draw welfare cash!

Everything is very good,
Soon we own whole neighborhood.

We have hobby - it called breeding,

Welfare pay for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist? Wife need pills?

We get free! We got no bills!

TAXPAYER crazy! He pay all year,
To keep welfare running here.

We think America darn good place!
Too darn good for white man race.

</SMALL>
Tip: Fax urgent letters instead of mailing them -- Congressional mail security screening can delay postal letters by 1-3 weeks.
If you would like a reply, request it in the letter and include your street address.
When writing to a Senator or Representative other than your own, you will not likely get a reply unless you make it clear why they should reply
; for example, if you represent an organization or company which has members or does business in their district, that might help.
Note: Many members automatically delete e-mail from outside their district, or may reject messages copied to other members. Every American has the right to contact any Congressmen they wish, because their votes affect the entire country. More Congressmen are using the "WriteRep" system where you must have a zip code from the district of the Congressman you want to write. <SMALL>Tip: Go to the Congressman's web site and get the zip code of one of their district offices, or get a zip code for any city.</SMALL></SMALL>

Please disregard my Alerts sent on Tuesday that described dire danger for the E-Verify program in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Your phoning and faxing -- and the work of our allies in the House -- have turned the situation around to a first-step victory.

At 9:39 p.m. Tuesday, I was able to post the following on the Home page of the NumbersUSA website the following:

Mostly good news to report this evening from multiple sources in the U.S. House -- negotiators have agreed to a 5-year re-authorization of the E-Verify program to keep illegal aliens out of U.S. jobs and without the strings attached that had threatened to strangle it in future years.

There are several indicators that many Members of Congress in both Parties really listened to you the citizens through your hundreds of thousands of faxes and phone calls this past week.

You can read more details and your fellow citizens' comments in my blog.

I thank all of you for all the faxing and phoning that made this first victory possible. Believe me, Members of the House of Representative felt tremendous pressure because of your work.

If the agreement holds together through today, we can hope to have House passage of E-Verify and then move on to get it passed in the Senate.

My blog discusses the challenge we face in the Senate.

We are asking for no more E-Verify phone calls into the House at this time, but please keep the pressure on the Senate. Please take any actions you find on your Action Buffet corkboard to continue the pressure for good immigration policy out of this Congress.

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING,

Perched on two construction cranes in front of the European Commission, six Moroccans living illegally in Belgium yesterday sought to make a high profile protest against EU policy on illegal immigrants.
The six were among about 40 illegal immigrants that climbed construction cranes around Brussels yesterday in a growing campaign to win residency permits.
“We chose the European quarter to tell Europeans that we are against what Europe has in the works for immigrants,” said Rachid Moumni, a young Belgian of Moroccan origin speaking on behalf of the six protesters.
While the Moroccans took to cranes in the heart of Brussels’ European quarter, others chose cranes at the construction site of a casino in the city centre.
The protestors said they were on a hunger strike and were not drinking liquids either.
“There’s a European agreement that says that illegal immigrants must be deported,” said Moumni.
EU countries have been cracking down on illegal immigration recently, agreeing tough new rules forcing the 27 member nations to give residency permits or send them home.
“We’re humans. Give us residency permits so that we can legally work on the construction sites where we are employed. We don’t want to work like slaves,” added Moumni.
Some of the six Moroccans, aged between 20 and 30, toil illegally on construction sites as tillers or painters, paid between 20 and 25 euros for a day of back-breaking work starting at 5am and ending at 8pm.
With the summer holidays, they found themselves unemployed with only a promise to be hired back when the site gets going again.
Although illegal immigrants and their supporters often demonstrate and hold sit-ins in Brussels, the cranes protest began last week with three Iranians who were already on a hunger strike
One of the three, a young woman, had to come down because of her weak condition on Friday and a day later the other two followed.
Campaign groups that help illegal immigrants estimate that 100,000 foreigners reside illegally in Belgium, which has a population of around 10mn.
Last year, Belgium deported 9,000 illegal immigrants and helped arrange for 2,500 others to leave the country voluntarily.
The issue of illegal immigration divides Belgium’s governing coalition between those in favour of more flexibility and those wanting a harder line.
Until the government takes a position, however, authorities are driving a hard line with the protestors.
“We are not discussing with people who hold actions (protests). There is no dialogue and there will be no dialogue,” said the head of the Bureau for Foreigners Freddy Roosemont.
Likewise, Migration and Refugee Minister Annemie Turtelboom’s spokesman insisted “we are not negotiating.” – AFP http://www.gulf-times.com/site/topi...=232824&version=1&template_id=39&parent_id=21

Obama: Healthcare for Illegals"

Monday, July 21, 2008 9:06 PM
By: Dick Morris & Eileen McGann
Newsmax. com

Democrats' single most important domestic proposal — universal health insurance — may blow up in Barack Obama's face when voters are exposed to the deadly details..

Obama has said, proudly and often, "I am going to give health insurance to 47 million Americans who are now without coverage..

"But are they "Americans?"

That 47 million statistic includes illegal immigrants, who virtually all lack insurance.. In fact, about one in four of those lacking insurance is here illegally.. And they are, by far, the group most in need of health insurance..

About 15 million of the remaining uninsured are eligible for Medicaid but haven't signed up, mainly because they haven't gotten sick.. When they do, they enroll in Medicaid and we pick up the full tab for their health care relatively cheaply.. (About 80 percent of each Medicaid dollar goes to nursing-home care for the elderly, only about 20 percent for the medical needs of the poor..

The rest of the uninsured pool? Virtually all the children are eligible for the State Children's Health Insurance Program.. Some aren't enrolled because the parents haven't bothered, but most are eligible.. That leaves about 20 million uninsured adults who are US citizens or legal immigrants.. There are far better ways to handle their needs than to turn our entire health-care system upside down..

Care for illegals is the biggest unmet medical need in our nation, and Obama's program targets it squarely..

But do we really want to give them federally paid coverage equal to what US senators get, as Obama proposes?

Covering illegals adds dramatically to the cost of any program - and would encourage more folks to enter America illicitly..

Obama's plan will likely have a horrific effect on some local health-care systems..

Illegals now get free emergency-room treatment for life-threatening conditions, as any other American who's entered an ER in an area with lots of illegals recently well knows..
(Three-quarters of the illegal-immigrant population is concentrated in five states: California, New York, Florida, Texas and Illinois..

But now they'd be eligible for the entire range of medical services, all free of charge.. That would trigger severe rationing: bureaucrats deciding who gets to see an oncologist, who can have an MRI - and even who can have bypass surgery and who'd die for lack of it..

These decisions would be made not on the basis of legal status but on the brutal facts of triage: Treat the 37-year-old illegal with his whole life to live before you spend scarce resources on an overweight, diabetic, 80-year-old citizen with high blood pressure who smokes..

John McCain hasn't raised this issue, perhaps for fear of offending the Latino vote.. But polling suggests the case against rationing of health care would be as persuasive to Hispanic-American citizens as it is to the rest of us..

Nobody wants to die waiting in line - especially not behind someone who snuck in ahead of us..

McCain needs to hit the Obama plan for treating illegal immigrants to free, federally subsidized health insurance — and hit it hard!

Spectrum Interiors CFO On Probation For Immigration Violations
Web produced by: Neil Relyea

The chief financial officer at an Erlanger drywall firm is now on probation for violating federal immigration laws.
Jean Robison said in December, 2006 Spectrum Interiors didn’t want anything to do with illegal workers.
But she was convicted of conspiring to conceal illegal workers from detection.
Her sentence was three years of probation, home detention for six months and 100 hours of community service.
The case has rippled through the construction community.
“I think companies are a lot more cautious now,” said Dan Dressman, of the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky. “They’re a lot more aware of fraudulent documentation that they might have seen previously and I’d like to think they’re more educated now than what they had been previously.”
The judge sentenced Spectrum Interiors owner Jeff Wolnitzek to eight months in prison and ordered the company to pay $2 million.

MEXICO CITY—As dozens of major American corporations continue to move their manufacturing operations to Mexico, waves of job-seeking Mexican immigrants to the United States have begun making the deadly journey back across the border in search of better-paying Mexican-based American jobs.
"I came to this country seeking the job I sought when I first left this country," said Anuncio Reyes, 22, an undocumented worker who recrossed the U.S. border into Mexico last month, three years after leaving Mexico for the United States to work as an agricultural day laborer. "I spent everything I had to get back here. Yes, it was dangerous, and I miss my home. But as much as I love America, I have to go where the best American jobs are."

<!--[image:48004]-->Reyes now works as a spot-welder on the assembly line of a Maytag large-appliance plant and earns $22 a day, most of which he sends back to his family in the U.S., who in turn send a portion of that back to the original family they left in Mexico. Like many former Mexican-Americans forced by circumstance to become American-Mexicans, Reyes dreams of one day bringing his relatives to Mexico so that they, too, may secure American employment in Mexico.
Despite the considerable risk illegal immigrants face in returning across the border, many find the lure of large U.S. factory salaries hard to resist—at 15 percent of the pay of corresponding jobs in America, these positions pay three times what Mexican jobs do.
Still, the danger is very real. When 31-year-old illegal Arizona resident Ignacio Jimenez sought employment at an American plant in Mexico, he was shot at by Mexican border guards as he attempted to illegally enter the country of his citizenship, pursued by U.S. immigration officials who thought he might be entering the country illegally, and fired upon again by a second group of U.S. Border Patrol agents charged with keeping valuable table-busing and food-delivery personnel inside American borders.
"It was a nightmare," Jimenez said. "Many became disoriented and panicked, and some were mixed in with immigrants going the other way across the Rio Grande and ended up swimming to the wrong country."
He added: "My cousin almost drowned. They fished him out and sent him back to wash dishes at T.G.I. Friday's."
Many say the trip across the border as illegal Mexican-American emigrants offers them a chance to land the American jobs in Mexico they never have been able to get as illegal Mexican-American immigrants in the U.S.
"It has always been my goal to have a good American job," Johnson Controls technician Camilla Torres, 27, said. "Many Mexicans now see Mexico as the land of opportunity. Mexicans will not stop trying to get here, no matter how much the Mexicans wish we would not."
Indeed, the trend of illegal re-emigration is causing great resentment among the local Mexican population, and tension between Mexicans and illegally re-entered Mexicans—dubbed repatriados—continues to build.
"I hate these Mexicans, always coming back here to Mexico from America and taking American jobs from the Mexicans who stayed in Mexico," said 55-year-old former Goodyear factory manager Juan-Miguel Diaz, who lost his job to a better-trained repatriado last March. "Why don't they go back to where they went to?"
Still, Jimenez, Reyes, and hundreds of others say they have no choice.
"The American Dream is alive and well in Mexico," Reyes said. "If I work hard, save my money, and plan well, I will be able to send my children to a good school—and who knows? If they study hard, perhaps they will get jobs someday at the new plant General Motors is building in China."

>> Catching Wild Pigs
>>
>>
>> There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange
>> students in the class.
>>
>> One day, while the class was in the lab, the Prof. noticed one of the
>> exchange students who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back
>> hurt. The professor asked the young man what the matter was. The
>> student
>> told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while
>> fighting
>> communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his
>> country's
>> government and install a communist government.
>>
>> In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange
>> question. He asked, 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?'
>>
>> The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.
>>
>> The young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by finding a
>> suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs
>> find
>> it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to
>> coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they
>> are
>> used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the
>> corn
>> again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that
>> and
>> start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the
>> fence
>> up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn,
>> start to come through the gate to eat, then you slam the gate on them
>> and
>> catch the whole herd.
>>
>> 'Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and
>> around
>> inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the
>> free
>> corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in
>> the
>> woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.'
>>
>> The young man then told the professor that was exactly what he seeing
>> happening in America
>>
>> 'The government keeps pushing the people toward socialism and keeps
>> spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental
>> income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy
>> subsidies,
>> payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine , drugs, etc, etc,
>> etc. while the people continue to lose their freedom - just a little at a
>> time. One should always remember: There is no such thing as a free Lunch
>> !
>> Also, a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you
>> can
>> do it yourself.'
>>
>> So, if you see that all of this wonderful government 'help' is a problem
>> confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to send
>> this
>> on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way
>> of
>> life then you will probably delete this email, but God help you when the
>> gates slam shut! In this "very important" election year, listen closely
>> to
>> what the candidates are promising you - just maybe you will be able to
>> tell
>> who is about to slam the gate on America .
>>
>> "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough
>> to
>> take away everything you have." Thomas Jefferson
