Thank You!
Dear Jim,
Thank you for all of your hard work fighting against S. 744 in the Senate. Because of your help, we prevented Chuck Schumer and the amnesty lobby from gaining the 70 votes they predicted they would get!
But the fight is just beginning. Now is the time to start refocusing your attention to the U.S. House of Representatives, where Speaker Boehner has claimed he will follow the will of the Republican Majority in the House. Make sure the will of Republican Majority is to:
• Oppose amnesty and any "pathway to citizenship" for illegal immigrants;
• Stop increasing the number of foreign guest workers at times of record unemployment; and
• Finally enforce U.S. immigration law and stop the Obama Administration's prosecutorial discretion policies that release illegal immigrants back onto the streets.
In fact, Republican Leadership in the House has called a closed-door meeting for Members of the GOP to discuss the critical immigration issue next Wednesday, July 10. It will be a time for Members to speak up and share their opinion as to how the chamber should proceed with the issue—make sure they tell Leadership to oppose amnesty!
While Members of Congress are back in their Districts for the July 4 holiday, take this time to call, write, or email your Member. And if you really want to get involved, contact your Member and find out if he or she has any town hall meetings or events scheduled where you can voice your opinions.
Thank you and keep up the hard work!
-FAIR
P.S. Thank you for fighting to stop the Gang of Eight's amnesty bill in the Senate. If you have a few minutes, please call your Member of Congress to see if he or she is having a town hall meeting or public event in the near future. Find his or her phone number here.

Thank you for fighting the Gang of Eight amnesty bill!
Can you help us gear up for the fight in the U.S. House?
Call your Member of Congress to see if he or she has a town hall meeting or public event scheduled soon. Click here to find the phone number.

TODAY: Hannity & Huckabee this week spotlighting new anti-amnesty film -- Momentum in our direction?
picture-21.jpg
BREAKING NEWS: The Congressional Budget Office has reviewed the S. 744 amnesty bill as passed by the Senate to see whether the so-called "border surge" that was added will stop future illegal immigration.

It's finding? Despite all the billions of extra money promised to be spent on the border, about half of illegal immigration will continue EVEN IF every enforcement promise in the bill is carried out.

(See my public statement below.)

Half-way border security and half-way interior enforcement is not at all what Sen. Marco Rubio promised when he was gaining support earlier this year from people like Sean Hannity and Mike Huckabee.
Now, both influential TV hosts are turning over all or much of their shows this weekend to Dennis Michael Lynch, a filmmaker who specializes in showing the failure of the government to live up to promises to protect its workers and citizens from immigration harm.
At this moment, Lynch and his film are scheduled to be featured on:
HANNITY SPECIAL
Fox News Channel
Thursday, July 4 -- at 9 p.m. Eastern and again at Midnight

THE HUCKABEE SHOW
Fox News Channel
In front of live audience
Saturday, July 6 -- at 8 p.m. Eastern
Sunday, July 7 -- at 8 p.m. & 11 p.m. Eastern

This may be another sign of momentum shifting AGAINST the S. 744 amnesty bill of Pres. Obama and Sen. Rubio.
The momentum FOR the bill seemed to stop about two minutes after the Senate passed it last week.
Since then, most of the news has been about resistance to the bill.
Lynch's latest documentary is called, " THEY COME TO AMERICA II, The Cost of Amnesty."
You can see more about it at: www.TheyComeToAmerica.com
REACTION TO LATEST CBO ANALYSIS OF S. 744
This is what we released to the media:
"The excuse for subjecting American workers to the extra job competition from 11 million amnestied illegal aliens and a doubled flow of authorized immigrants was supposed to be that the Senate bill would guarantee an end to future illegal immigration.

"But now CBO says that the Senate bill with all its promises about extra enforcement would still allow half the illegal immigration flow to continue. This CBO finding suggests that by 2020 the illegal population will have grown big enough that presidential candidates will once again be pressed to promise yet another amnesty to 'fix a broken immigration system.' "

Senator more cases are getting posted in the San Diego Home Stay directory of Chinese coming to San Diego to have anchor babies, to later send the kids to continue their education at tax payers expense, yesterday, as I already told you, it was a girl, Cathy Zhong, that contacted me, now it is a male Chinese coming with his pregnant wife to have his second child, born in San Diego. His name is Zhang Wei Ming, traveling to America July 10, 2013 and they will depart October 25.
Before Senator, only the ones that could pay could come from that country, now they are looking for student inexpensive accommodation to come and that will open the abuse to many more, if they are successful.
This need to stop, we the tax payers of America are tired of the abuse and paying to accommodate this people, because Washington refuse to act and stop the abuse. I hope you will stand up and do something to help us and help America from this continue abuse. We need to clarify or change the 14 amendment to stop this abuse, no only from China, but from Mexico as well. The San Diego paper have an editorial awhile back about how our ambulances and fire department, have to come to the border to pick up pregnant women, who show up to the border, ready to have their babies, and because of a law, you guys have refuse to change, they can not be returned to Mexico and have to be taken to a Hospital here, to have their anchor babies, courtesy of us, the tax payers of America, because Washington impose that burden to us.
Thank you for your time,

MR. PRESIDENT, I'M MOVING TO MEXICO
2013 Jun 29 from Melanie

Dear President Obama,
I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me. We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements. We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, the President of Mexico, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. Please print all Mexican Government forms in English.
4. I want my grand kids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.
5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my grand kids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.
7. Please plan to feed my grand kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo
from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my housetop, put U.S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.
13. Please have the President tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.
14. I want to receive free food stamps.
15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.
16. I'll need income tax credits so that, although I don't pay Mexican taxes, I'll receive money from the government.
17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Government pays $4,500.00 to help me buy a new car.
18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request, because you do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico.
I am sure that the President of Mexico won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

House GOP to Hold Immigration Meeting TOMORROW
Tell House Leadership You Want TRUE Immigration Reform, NOT Amnesty!
Tomorrow afternoon—Wednesday, July 10—House Republicans will hold a special conference to debate immigration policy and whether they will support any or all of the provisions of S.744, the Senate amnesty bill. This is your chance to make a difference! Call House Leadership NOW and tell them you want TRUE immigration reform, not amnesty.
Urge them to reject the Senate amnesty bill and adopt TRUE Immigration Reform.
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH)
202-225-0600

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA):
202-225-4000

House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)
202-225-2915

House Republican Conference Chairman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA)
202-225-2006

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman James Lankford (R-OK)
202-225-2132

House Immigration Reform Caucus Chairman Ted Poe (R-TX)
202-225-6565

When you call these House leaders, tell them:
Amnesty is NOT immigration reform!
Amnesty undermines the rule of law, encourages more illegal immigration, and is inherently unfair to individuals around the world who are patiently waiting in line – often for years – to legally immigrate to the United States!

You oppose increasing legal immigration.
The United States cannot even absorb the current level of legal immigration, which adds roughly 1.1 million workers (the equivalent of the city of Dallas) to the U.S. labor market each and every year. At this level, the United States economy must create at least 150,000 jobs EVERY MONTH, just to keep up with the addition of immigrant workers.

The U.S. DOES NOT NEED more guest workers!
Approximately 22 million Americans are currently unemployed or underemployed, both in high-skilled and low-skilled fields. Guest workers take job opportunities from American workers, discourage Americans from entering certain fields, and depress wages. Immigration policy should prioritize American workers first.

We need to enforce the laws already in place!
Immigration reform means securing our borders and robustly enforcing our immigration laws across the country. This means preventing illegal border crossings, stopping visa overstays, and enforcing immigration laws across the country. It also means ending the Obama Administration's blatant dismissal of federal law and reversing its “prosecutorial discretion" policies.

Strong, Mandatory E-Verify policies are needed.
E-Verify must be MANDATORY, without exception and without watering down the program or penalties to appease big business. In addition, workplace enforcement policies must punish both employers and illegal workers to create deterrence on both ends.

•There should be zero tolerance for sanctuary policies.
There should be zero tolerance for states and local governments who encourage illegal immigration through sanctuary policies, especially through laws policies that restrict the ability of state and local law enforcement agencies to transfer custody of illegal aliens to federal agents.

• Congress should protect U.S. Taxpayers.
American taxpayers should NOT be forced to subsidize illegal immigration through benefits, tax credits, and other programs designed to help struggling American families.

House Republicans will meet in less than 48 hours, so there is no time to waste!

VAN ESSER
July 15th in Washington, D.C.: Anti-Amnesty March and Rally
leap-logo.png
Although this is not a NumbersUSA event, we are forwarding information to members who may be interested in attending.

Dear activist,
The Black American Leadership Alliance (BALA) has organized an anti-amnesty march and rally -- the DC March for Jobs -- in Washington, D.C. on Monday, July 15th. The goal is to "demand that our leaders reject amnesty, enforce immigration laws as written, and support policies that put black U.S. citizens back to work."
As their web site notes, if the Gang of Eight's immigration bill is enacted, it "will be costly for all Americans, but will harm black American workers more than any other group. Mass immigration and amnesty puts those poorest Americans from all walks of life out of work and suppresses wages, causing them to compete with aliens willing to work in poorer working conditions for cheaper pay. When 22 million Americans are either out of work or unemployed, now is no time to further over-saturate the labor force with increased immigration levels and amnesty. If Congress doesn't stop this irresponsible legislation, the United States will continue to see more and more Americans of all races out of jobs and on the streets."
The list of speakers for the event includes:
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.)
Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa)
Former Rep. Alan West (Fla.);
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.);
State Sen. Elbert Guillory (R-La.);
Frank Morris, former Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation;
Mike Cutler, former INS Agent; and
Dennis Michael Lynch, filmmaker .
What: DC March for Jobs
When: Monday, July 15, 2013 -- 9:30 a.m.
Where: Starts at Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC
For more information, visit http://www.dcmarchforjobs.com/#/
Alternatively, you can call 202-349-0858 or send an email to info@blackallianceorg.org
Look for a list of State Organizers on the site. Your state may already have a delegation planning to attend.

[h=2]News[/h][h=3]Ways and Means Chair: Senate Immigration Bill Unconstitutional, Can’t be Considered in House[/h]Thursday, July 11, 2013, 1:35 PM EDT
Dave%20Camp.jpg

Rep. Dave Camp (R-Mich.), the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, said the Senate’s comprehensive amnesty bill (S. 744) is unconstitutional because only bills originating in the House can raise revenues. The Senate has not officially transmitted S. 744 to the House yet but Camp’s statement implies he will move to prevent the House from taking up the bill when that occurs.Read Full Story

THIS ISSUE: House GOP blocks Senate amnesty blueprint, but leadership's intentions are unclear
picture-202510.jpg
BREAKING NEWS: Earlier today, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that she is stepping down to become the President of the University of California system. In June of 2012, Sec. Napolitano ordered Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to violate federal immigration laws by granting deferred action to illegal aliens who might qualify for the DREAM Act. More than 250,000 illegal aliens have been offered a two-year amnesty through the directive. A federal district judge is expected any day to issue a first ruling on the suit against Napolitano's order as brought by immigration ICE agents and financed by NumbersUSA's members.Read more here.
Earlier this week, the House Republican Conference held its highly-anticipated, closed-door immigration meeting where Members were to decide how to proceed on the issue after the Senate passed its mass amnesty bill two weeks ago. GOP Leadership along with two committee chairmen issued a statement after the meeting saying that the House would not consider the Senate bill, S.744, and would continue with its piecemeal approach to immigration reform.
The fate of S.744 took another blow this week when Ways & Means Chairman Dave Camptweeted that the House would not consider the Senate bill because it raises revenue, which is a power reserved exclusively for the House under the Constitution. Texas Rep. Steve Stockman was the first one to take issue with the constitutionality of the Senate bill and has been encouraging House Leadership to "blue-slip" the bill. Coincidently, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has yet to send the bill to the House, and some speculate that it's because he, too, is concerned with the bill's constitutionality and doesn't want it killed by the House for that reason.
The House's piecemeal approach is already in action. To date, the House Judiciary Committee has already passed four bills - a mandatory E-Verify bill, an interior enforcement bill, an Ag guest worker bill, and a high-skilled visa bill. The Homeland Security Committee has already passed a border security bill. It's unclear whether or not the full House will vote on any of these bills before the August recess.
Roy says: "The bills range from great to not-bad to terrible. The vast majority of the harmful elements in the Senate bill are not found in these bills."
While the statement issued by the GOP Leadership and the votes taken in the House have thus far been hopeful, there's still some uncertainty with how House Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor want to proceed. During the GOP Conference meeting, Speaker Boehner told Republicans that they have to pass something. Whether that means an amnesty bill or other immigration-related legislation is unknown. Furthermore, details began to leak out yesterday that Majority Leader Cantor has begun drafting a DREAM-like amnesty bill.
GOP Leadership has also been vague about how they would handle a possible conference with the Senate. The House could pass immigration legislation and task a group of Members to conference with Senate conferees to merge the House-passed legislation with S.744, and we fear that a conference bill would look a lot more like S.744 than the bills currently being considered in the House.
While there may be a lot of uncertainty, we do know a few things for sure. First, the House will not consider S.744 or move on an amnesty bill before their August recess. Second, House Members will be back in their districts in August to gauge the feelings of their constituents. That means the August recess will be critical in killing an amnesty this year. We'll be sending along activism opportunities over the coming weeks.
In the meantime, check your Action Board for new faxes that you can send to your House Reps.

"The Movie that Could Kill the Immigration Bill"Political correctness kept it out of the theaters, but this documentary is storming the nation, anyway.Show this movie to your friends, and get them to take action before House votes on immigration
Dear RX Forum Members,

Sean Hannity used to support amnesty. Then he met Dennis Michael Lynch. So impressed by Lynch's compelling new documentary, They Come to America 2: The Cost of Amnesty, Hannity devoted an entire show to interviewing Lynch and others about it.
I think the movie is powerful enough that we are giving away free DVDs as our way of thanking everyone who donates to us over the next seven days. We hope you'll be so moved by it that you'll show your friends and neighbors.
When you see this movie, you'll see why we believe every family in America should watch it. Let me correct myself: I think you'll see why every family in America would want to watch it.
"The best documentary I've ever seen."

--Garret Lewis, KNST Radio, Arizona.
NumbersUSA has not gotten into the film business. We're not selling this movie. We're trying to raise funds to block the most disastrous bill ever proposed in the U.S. Congress. We'll send one DVD to anyone who gives any donation of at least $25. We're giving this film as thanks to donors because we believe many of our members might find it very helpful to change others' minds, or stick up for their beliefs.
Anyone see any problems with this cargo coming across the border?
When Dennis Micheal Lynch created his first movie, he was taken aback by the anger of the politically correct forces who didn't want it shown. Audiences loved it, but theaters and film festivals across the country were cowed into blackballing it.
This time, Dennis has certainly perfected his art. He starts with a discussion on political correctness, and ends up recording a harrowing life-or-death adventure into the No-Man's-Land of our border lands, controlled by drug-runners and terrorists. Dennis even takes a fake, conspicuous anthrax bomb across the Southwestern border, drives it to Virginia, and loads it onto an auto train!
borderrelief.jpg
From Dennis Lynch's movie: You'll want to know why this border-crossing sign includes Chinese!
When we offered Dennis' first movie to our members, I told you about my wife's reaction. She watched it in absolute silence, and when it was over she turned to me and said, "Wow, you've got to get that into the hands of all your members. It's inexcusable! Numbers has been right all along. This has got to be solved on the federal level. If you try to do something yourselves, you'll get shot, you'll get killed, you'll be called a vigilante."
I was very impressed, too, but I work with this issue every day. Well, let me tell you: Dennis has honed his story-telling skills... and his ability to find adventure. And I can honestly tell you that this movie isn't like other documentaries. It's riveting, even exciting.
"Oscar worthy. You won't be able to stop watching."

--Brian Kilmeade, Fox and Friends
We're giving this DVD away out of thanks to people who help us in this hour of terrible national peril.
For us, this film is a tool. Our members made hundreds of thousands of phone calls and sent millions of faxes to the U.S. Senate. The immigration bill passed anyway, but we changed the debate: Republican House leadership backed off its support for "comprehensive immigration reform" (amnesty), and they are now promising they won't bring any immigration bill to the floor without the support of a majority of their party.
But while there are many promising proposals, such as passing E-Verify or reducing chain migration, there is still a grave danger of amnesty. The House leadership still feel its urgently necessary to pass something and we need to make sure that something helps put more Americans to work, rather than displacing millions from their jobs.
So here's three simple steps to help:
1) Donate to NumbersUSA, so we can connect hundreds of thousands of Americans with their congressmen.
2) Show your friends, relatives, and even co-workers or fellow parishioners this powerful documentary.
3) Get them to sign up for NumbersUSA so they get our alerts to call when the time is right in Washington.
We know you want to stop this terrible amnesty bill. We're giving you every tool we can to give you a voice in Washington. Help us help you, and donate today.
Everyone who gives at least $25 within 7 days will automatically be sent one DVD of this brand new documentary!
(The minimum to get the DVD is $25, but we really need lots of people giving $50, $100, and $250 to beat amnesty in the House.)

Remember, You Can Donate 4 Ways

1) On-line credit card. We take all major cards.

Senate's Overpopulation Amnesty Bill Unconstitutional
Blue-Slip Would End it Now

S. 744, the overpopulation amnesty bill, is not just dreadful for America, but it is likely unconstitutional as well. The U.S. Constitution states, “All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives…,” but the Congressional Budget Office confirmed that the immigration bill would increase federal revenues (and expenses).
House Ways and Means Committee Chair Dave Camp (R-MI) called the bill unconstitutional, and Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) is leading the effort to “blue-slip” the bill, a procedure whereby the House asserts its constitutional prerogative and returns the legislation to the Senate without taking further action.

Contact your House Representative and urge him or her to support the blue-slip procedure to kill this bill and to focus instead on true immigration reform that benefits Californians and all Americans!

Thank you,

Gretchen Pfaff

Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) is a non-partisan nonprofit membership organization that relies solely on donations. CAPS works to formulate and advance policies and programs designed to stabilize the population of California, the U.S. and the world at levels which will preserve the environment and a good quality of life for all. In recent years since nearly all of California's and most of the United States' runaway population growth has come from immigration, CAPS has given this issue the attention it deserves.
