From this article and several more we have learned the following from Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is criticizing Obama for not having passed some form of broader Amnesty earlier. Mitt Romney is refusing to say he will rescind Obama's unlawful and unconstitutional Amnesty dictates. Mitt Romney is NOT criticizing Obama for acting like a dictator and bypassing Congress, the public, the elections, and the the US Constitution. Mitt Romney IS criticizing Obama for not creating a longer term "solution" which is sounding more like Amnesty.

While some of these positions from Mitt Romney may be misrepresented by the press, two things are very clear.

1. Mitt Romney is not standing up to Obama and standing up against both Obama's Amnesty and Obama's use of executive fiat.

2. Mitt Romney is making it clear that he has some immigration positions which he has not revealed to the American public!

While we all wish that our choices for president would offer us a choice on Amnesty for illegal aliens, that may not be the case like it was with McCain vs. Obama.

HR 5957, by Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ), and HR5953, by Rep. Ben Quayle (R-AZ), would block the Secretary of Homeland Security from deferring deportations or from limiting the enforcement of our immigration laws.

This executive amnesty could cover at least two million illegal aliens. The order not only suspends deportations, but also authorizes the issuance of work permits, even as 20 million Americans cannot find full-time work.

By now, I'm sure you have heard about Obama's DREAMnesty plan to legalize over 800,000 illegals.

Don't pull your hair out! I will tell you how to stop his illegal power grab, but first I want to remind you of who you are and how effective you have been!

IFIRE members, fellow patriots, tea party members and activists from a broad coalition of state and national groups have worked together to accomplish things that seemed impossible. Here is a short list just to remind you:

• In February, 2011, with less than 24 hours notice, your calls stopped the Indiana General Assembly from passing HB1326, Indiana's DREAM Act! giving in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens.

• During that same session, the General Assembly took legislative action to counteract the Indiana Supreme Court's unconstitutional ruling in the Barnes v. State case. The court had ruled that homeowners had no right to resist unlawful entry into their homes by law enforcement officers. The General Assembly restored the homeowner's rights by passing SB1.

• You got rid of the illegal alien's best friend, 6-term Senator Dick Lugar in the GOP Primary by replacing him with conservative Tea Party favorite, Richard Mourdock.

• Year after year, your actions have stopped repeated attempts to pass various amnesties and DREAM Acts.

Call Congress Now!

Congressman David Schweikert (R-AZ) has proposed a bill to stop Obama's DREAMnesty power grab. Call your U.S. Senator and Congressman today to ask them to co-sponsor HB5957 which will "prohibit the Secretary of Homeland Security from granting deferred action or otherwise suspending the effectiveness or enforcement of the immigration laws." It's a simple, 1-page bill that everyone should be able to support!

Here we go again, folks! Another President pushing amnesty for illegal aliens down our throats, only this time we didn't see how it was coming. While I was in Washington, D.C., my Congressman told me that nothing big was going to happen before the election as far as immigration legislation.

I cannot believe with our economy as bad as it is that any politician would push amnesty! This is a slap in the face to unemployed and under employed Americans and should be the losing deal for this failed President but the media is playing their sob story to their consumers.

Now, don't for a minute believe the Republicans are innocent in this anti-lawful maneuver. I have sent some of you an email stating Senator Marco Rubio, John Kyl and Kay Bailey Hutchison were working on their own form of the DREAM Act but this President beat them to the punch.

Every story I have read had many negative comments about this stunt Obama is pulling and we must educate people about how bad this decision is for American citizens.

We have had some time away from fighting illegal immigration but it's time to come together to push this decision back where it belongs--in the trash heap!

We defeated Lugar and some other pro-illegal politicians but now we need to let Obama and Romney know that we want immigration enforcement and not any type of amnesty.

I hope you feel the same way I did when President Obama stated he was implementing his own DREAM Act and let the Congress be damned!

We would like to see all of us join together and work on reversing this terrible decision this out-of-touch President is forcing on his constituents.

The Court struck down provisions of the law that would have made it a state crime for illegal aliens to apply for a job and would have made it a misdemeanor for immigrants to fail to carry identification. For decades, federal law has required aliens to carry documentation showing their legal status.

“What is most noteworthy is that states now have an additional tool to fight the problems of illegal immigration, a tool they did not have prior to the Arizona law,” said Marilyn DeYoung, Chairman of the Board of Californians for Population Stabilization.

“This, coupled with the Supreme Court’s previous ruling upholding the ability of the states to institute mandatory E-Verify and see that jobs go to legal workers, means that states can do much to overcome the abysmal failure of the federal government to enforce our nation’s immigration laws.”

The border security group ALIPAC is praising Congress's historic vote to hold Obama's Department of Justice head Eric Holder in contempt of Congress today due to Holder's failure to provide subpoenaed information regarding the Fast and Furious Gunwalker scandal, which used US Taxpayer monies to purchase assault weapons for human and drug smuggling crime cartels.

In response to the Congressional Black Caucus's walk out during the vote, ALIPAC offered this response.

"It was sad to see so many Democrats and minority members of Congress put partisanship and race before the public's demand for justice today," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. This Issue: Mass immigration's impact on America's unemployed draws attention from media outlets

Both legal and illegal immigration have a major impact on America's unemployed and underemployed, and in light of this week's Supreme Court ruling and Pres. Obama's new policy to grant amnesty to at least 1.4 million illegal aliens, the media is finally taking notice. In recent weeks, NumbersUSA has prominently appeared in both newspapers and media websites making the connection between mass immigration and jobs.

Earlier this week, Time Magazine spoke to Roy about the impact Monday's Supreme Court ruling could have on GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and his positions on immigration. Time used one of Roy's quotes that mentioned how state enforcement can help the prospects of jobless Americans.
In the wake of Mondays ruling, some proponents of stricter immigration policies argued that the E-Verify law, and not SB1070, should be the centerpiece of enforcement efforts going forward, since it blunts undocumented immigrants ability to find a job, the primary factor driving them to the U.S. "We never felt 1070 was necessary for a state to really do most of what it could do," says Roy Beck, founder of NumbersUSA, an immigration-reduction organization.

Yesterday, the Huffington Post wrote a piece featuring our national TV ad campaign that started last weekend. The ad talks about the impacts of legal immigration on unemployed American engineers.
The newest Numbers USA ad, shows a clip of a woman whose husband is unemployed asking Obama why he allows more legal immigrants to come when jobs are scarce.
"Let's reduce mass immigration and save jobs for Americans," a voiceover says.

Roy's immediate reaction on Monday's Supreme Court ruling was not only on our front page, but was also featured on the front page of Fox News. Roy wasted no time discussing the impact of the ruling on unemployed Americans by making the connection in his first two paragraphs.
In all the analysis of whether Arizona or Pres. Obama came out on top in the Supreme Courts ruling on S.B. 1070 today, the key question is: how well did unemployed Americans fare?
And the answer is: Very well.

Shortly after Pres. Obama announced an amnesty for at least 1.4 million illegal aliens who had been brought to the country at a young age by their parents, a Los Angeles Times' story used a quote from Roy that focused on the work permits that would result from the new policy.
Numbers USA, a leading advocacy group pushing for tougher immigration laws, said the move was "unconstitutional."
"President Obama thwarted the will of Congress and shunned the 20 million under- and unemployed Americans by announcing he will grant work permits to 2 [million to] 3 million illegal workers," said group president Roy Beck.
Whether it be legal or illegal, mass immigration has a tremendously adverse affect on America's unemployed and underemployed, and NumbersUSA will continue to fight to keep that message alive. Many of our elected officials haven't taken notice yet, but as the connection between jobs and immigration becomes more pronounced, they'll be forced to take notice.

Obama Administration Suspends 287(g) Program in Arizona
In light of yesterday's Supreme Court ruling, the Obama Administration has suspended the 287(g) program in Arizona. The 287(g) program is an official partnership between local law enforcement agencies and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to help enforce federal immigration laws at the local level. Federal officials said the program is no longer needed in Arizona now that the Court has upheld the section of the state's immigration-enforcement law requiring all police to check immigration status.

Obama Administration Rejects Virginia's 287(g) Application
The Obama Administration has rejected the application submitted by the Virginia State Police to join the Department of Homeland Security's 287(g) program. The program allows local law enforcement agents to be trained by federal immigration enforcement officials in order to help enforce federal laws at the state and local level. Earlier this week, the administration suspended all 287(g) agreements that DHS had with agencies in Arizona.

Administration's Executive Amnesty leaves many questions unanswered
Since Pres. Obamas announcement last week to offer an Executive Amnesty to at least 1.4 million illegal aliens, the three agencies most effected have been scrambling to fill in the many holes that exist within the new policy. A week later, it appears the heads at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Customs and Border Patrol are no closer to closing up those holes.

Most of the mainstream media's coverage of today's jobs report notes that job growth did not keep pace with population growth. But the mainstream media does not acknowledge that U.S. population growth is largely dictated by immigration policy, which imports tens of thousands foreign workers every month to negate the increase in jobs.
