The question the President refused to answer -- and most media refuse to ask.
The government's primary role is to protect its citizens. Why then, with millions of Americans out of work, is the government giving work permits to illegal aliens? Isn't the government's responsibility to make it harder for businesses to hire illegal aliens - not easier?
The outrage over President Obama's executive amnesty is all over the internet. What we need now is a wave of thought-provoking comments on media websites that put the focus on the American workers that the President and mainstream media don't want to talk about.
A reporter from the Daily Caller tried to ask President Obama about American workers today and was shot down. You can read his coverage here and here. A Washington Post reporter also considered the impact the rule would have on struggling Americans (stoy here). Sadly, most of the rest of the mainstream media has refused to ask the question that the President doesn't want to answer.
Please remember to be courteous and civil -- angry and combative language does not help our cause. Let's leave the politics aside for now and talk about the government's responsibility to American workers.
