You should try travelling around the world a little bit to see that the American media is limited in its reporting of news and ideas. Only then will you realize how the media can try to mold a country's viewpoints.
As far as how I feel about my daughter if I ever had one, that is irrelevant. What is relevant is how a farmer in rural Mexico feels about his daughter banging a businessman or a mother in France whose daughter has an affair with an older man. We shouldn't shame them into how they should feel about that because they feel it's no big deal because it happens all the time in their country.
Older men have been banging 15 year olds since the beginning of time and parents outside the US aren't making a big deal of it. Even in the US over half of teenage pregnancies have been fathered by men who are more than 3 years older than the girl.

One thing I can guarantee is that sexual purity is not a goal of the American media.
I don't have the money to travel the world, but I would love to someday. No matter what I see, I'll always think that a 25 year old banging a 14 year old is disgusting. And I'm not going to apologize to other cultures for feeling that way.
American media is not christian. The US media is goal is to desensitize with people like Howard Stern, Steve Spielberg, Viacom, Porn industry. They are tools of satan. Where is the porn capital? Northridge. Is it a coincedence there was a record earthquake epicentered in Northridge.

Actually, there's a fairly big difference as far as being in a position of trust ... a teacher can severely alter the educational/life outcome of a high school student by assigning a good or bad grade ... an athletic trainer doesn't have that power to hold over the student.
A couple of guys on my university football team were banging the team physiotherapist and team aerobics instructor, respectively ... neither got in shit for it, nor did the two team employees. It was well-known in the locker room, and neither coaches nor players seemed to really give a shit.
I think the problem (legally) in this particular case is the age difference between the trainer and the student ... I'm sure there would be no laws broken if the kid was 19 years old and banging the trainer ... sure, the school might have fired her ass for violating the terms of her contract, but there would have been no laws broken.

GANNETT TENNESSEE [/FONT]A former Portland High School teacher convicted of having sex with her underage teacher's aide has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
District Attorney Ray Whitley said Sandy Binkley "got what she had coming to her."
"(Judge Dee Gay) gave her the maximum sentence and that's what she deserved," Whitley said.
David Ridings, Binkley's attorney, said it was the most egregious abuse of justice in sentencing that he has ever seen. "We hoped that (the judge) would follow the law. He failed miserably at that," Ridings said.
Binkley's attorney had hoped the former teacher would be sentenced to no more than three years. He plans to appeal.
"It ain't over, baby," Ridings said to Whitley as they exited the courtroom. "It's just starting."
Binkley, 37, the former teacher, was convicted Sept. 29 in Sumner County on two counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.
The convictions stemmed from a sexual encounter that occurred on March 20, 2008, between Binkley and a 17-year-old boy in a locker room office at Portland High School.
Binkley claimed she was raped.
Before her sentencing, Binkley, clad in a striped jail jumpsuit, apologized for the harm she has caused.
"As I sit here today incarcerated, I have to believe something good can come of this," Binkley said.
The judge said it didn't matter if the children involved were 7 or 17, they were entitled to protection at school.
Binkley, who has been in Sumner County Jail since the verdict, will serve a little less than four years before she is eligible for parole.

I don't mean to use double standards but I mean come on. This kid is not a victim. He is going to be a hero and a stud among his peers and for the rest of his life he has a cool story to tell his guy friends and a good memory that he will be proud of and enjoy thinking about. He is not traumatized. Not by a long shot...that lucky bastard. All my teachers were ugly as hell when I was in school several years ago.
Couple things with that tennessee case. I think she really hurt herself by claiming rape with the 17 year old, there's no way you are going to win that when you are 20 years older than him. The punishment is severely harsh and I hope she wins an appeal, but I'm assuming the judge is taking the case with the perspective that what if it happened if it were a male teacher in this position. People would be screaming pedophile
