That's the very legit knock on Luck.
The Colts are good, but not great. They beat up on crappy teams and get steamrolled when they play a real opponent. They'll win the AFC South by default and go on to host a playoff game. But if they get to the divisional round and have to play someone like Denver or NE on the road, my guess is it will be lights out again.
They beat the 2 teams who were in the super bowl last year and the 49ers. Beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. Lost by a TD to Denver this year, beat the Ravens, destroyed Cincy, lost to Philly by 3.
Only teams they were steamrolled by this year were Steelers where they still scored in the 30's, Patriots, and Cowboys. This year I expect a win in wild card and then loss at Pats. Rather play Denver.
Not like many teams go up to Foxboro in Jan. and win. Sounds like the same shit I used to hear about Peyton. You saw what the colts were when he went down. 2-14 with no Peyton or Luck. 11-5 the very next season with alot of the same roster
The team is not good, Luck just make them look good. This would be different if it was the NFC South and they were getting in with a 7-9 record.
You can't say for certain he will win a super bowl. You could play this years playoffs over 4 times and have 3 or 4 different winners. But I can say they will be in it every year just like the Pats, Broncos, Packers. Alot of "Luck" goes into winning super bowl. The Giants will tell you that.
Within 2 years, Manning and Brady won't be around and Luck will be 27. Big Ben will prob. have either died in a motorcycle crash or be suspended for rape.
