Your top 5 is solid.
Only other QB I would consider putting in Rivers spot is Big Ben.
Big Ben and Rivers are 5 and 6, or 6 and 5.
Those 2 are too close to call IMO.
Then Romo after that to round out the top 7 before a slight drop off for 8 to 10.
Only idiot posters discount a QB for 1 bad game.
No, I've never wavered. Keep trying though.
Manning
Rodgers
Brees
Luck
Rivers (although I reserve the right to put Brady back in the top 5 at any moment as he's looked phenomenal lately).
One problem I see is that they better start upgrading their protection of Luck. The guy takes way too many hits game after game.
Agreed, just cause he is built like Roethlisberger doesn't mean he needs to take the punishment he has taken
I must have missed that one Harry.
Luck has the best situation imaginable. He's played with a great D... He has always had a OL... He has extremely talented WRs.... He plays in the worst division in football by a mile... IMO, he's at the pinnacle of his career...
Media just loves him. Every one assumes he's the best. Tonight Gruden said "he's barely missed any passes" When he was 22 of 42... Only missed 20 completions....

Only idiot posters would suggest a QB who has never won a conference championship game, or really any big game, is better than a Hall of Fame QB that has been to 5 super bowls.
As a thought experiment, there is not 1, not a single, NFL GM who faced with the prospect of winning a conference championship game would select Rivers over these QB's listed in order of SB/Conf Championship Game appearances
Brady
Manning
Big Ben
Brees
Rodgers
Also selected before Rivers would be Flacco, Luck, and possibly Romo.
Which is how we know Rivers isn't in the top 5.
Thanks for participating.
