I talked to them a few weeks ago to the VIP area also they said basicly the same thing and he said you will still be able to access your funds just not transfer to any books anymore...but im done with neteller WD what I had left a few days ago except for a few cents...sad day...I loved neteller im sure someone else will step up If neteller does go

It's not your country, you're just leasing the right to exist there. It's the same in almost any country.

Detain? Well ask the guys down in guantanamo that have been sitting there for 5 years without being charged. I guess if they don't pull the terroism trick on you they could probally legally detain you for X amount of time before having to charge you.

I recommend if you have money at neteller you dump it somewhere - dont withdraw it.

Withdrawing it takes a day or two and will not avoid a freeze.
