I have one, but i told them to cancel it. I never got charged any fees after i told them to cancel it, so maybe it's just inactive. Maybe a quick email will activate it.

just did mine and she was friendly and said that Neteller reccommends this process.

How long did it from the phone call to cancel EFT to seeing money in account again?

Made the call Wed night when I saw TT post in your thread that he did this. The funds were back in my account about 4pm yesterday and I withdrew the max amount last night. Will do the same today and every day until my balance is gone.

Mods:

I think a seperate thread about US v. Lawerence and Lefebvre and another about the Neteller financial/business status is warranted.

I signed up at this site to lurk and see what other CFB bettors were doing, mostly. But I'm really into the Neteller story and find that I often get better information here than on "news" sites. I think that what happens to the Neteller founders in the legal case and what happens to Neteller as a business is very relevant to the future of sportsbetting as a whole. It merits our consideration.

If someone starts those two threads again, please allow the threads to "live" on their own. That way I'll only have to skim through a dozen or so posts of "I requested a withdrawl five days ago and I'm still waiting" instead of scores of those posts when I'm looking for what's new with the regard to the Neteller legal case or financial status.

I know I'm "just" a newbie, but I hope I'll be forgiven for being so forward in asking for this.

Looked through their web site and found no mention at all about neteller. Suprise, suprise. I guess W doesn't want to mess with the Swiss. Too many GOPers have hidden money there! I'm sure you are right but they sure can conceal it to the media for a long time. First I heard of their stake in Neteller.

Basically, Neteller likely has no way to send money to the US and has no incentive to find a new way.

Their EFTs were likely shut off.
Their US bank probably told them no more.
Their debit card probably pulled out.

So could they find new banks? Probably.

Do they have any incentive not to sit on the money for years? nope.

Months and months ago, I said when they went down, it would be a long ass delay.

Did anyone ever find *any* non-gambling merchants--except for the online video game thing I posted--that take Neteller? I got most of my money out while the gettin' was good and only have a little left in my Neteller account. If I knew of any non gambling merchants that take it I'd consider pissing it away at this point

I'd imagine that if there are any non-gambling sites that take Neteller they're probably not too anxious to accept it as payment either...

More horseshit....why don't they just tell us we can to go to Canada to get it then? I'd be up there tomorrow. It's bullshit stall tactics, which all end up with them delaying payment.

SHe also said that there are various non-gaming sites that take Neteller, at which a US customer could make a purchase, but that it would violate their "privacy agreement" to disclose who they were. SHe advised me to do an Internet search in order to find some.

Could she be encouraging us to read between the lines here? Are there sites that will take a neteller "purchase" and "return" the money via paypal or something (obviously for a fee)? Or am I just that 2AM kind of delusional again...
