When the crap first started with Bos everyone was saying the same thing "Don't worry they are solid", "Don't worry they have plenty of cash" "They won't stiff as they are a publicly traded company (like that made a difference)".

What rock were you hiding under...myself and hundreds of other posters hear warned of BOS for months before any of that crap went down. BOS was a shit book.

Comparing BOS to Neteller? :ohno:

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and guess that there might be a reason that Neteller locked his account. Do we have alot of history where Neteller locks and account, hears a good explanation for whatever is being questioned and still does not re-open the account?

Further, I can't think of too many posts where Neteller's legal department was mentioned. Just a guess, but I have a feeling that Sauce & friends were attempting :hump:<--Neteller.

just requested that my card be sent out...$2 to transfer the money to your card and then $1.50 to withdraw the money...I'll eat $3.50 for peace of mind...

I applied for a card after the shit hit the fan. Received the Neteller Card in the mail today (after being forwarded from my previous address).

I called Neteller and had them cancel my pending EFT's. Then you go back into your account and withdraw the amount (max $1000 per day:ohno: ) to your card.

I'm heading out to the ATM machine to see if the final stage works out!:103631605

that's great you got your cash, I'd leave 5% just to have my money back at this point.

How about a visit in person? I know I would gladly chip in $20 for such a venture, and I'm sure at least 100 other RXers would too.

That would also work, but best to try by phone first, the professional way to do it. I have an approach I think would be effective, and not antagonize Neteller. Unless the info gatherer is clearly being shit on he/she would want to keep the relationship cordial bur professional.

I've have some time in an hiour or so to delineate the way this could be handled by one or more of the talented folk at rx.

Neteller will lock an account just because one guy decides he wants to. Be careful. They will not keep your money when they lock your account though. In the past they have sent me balances of locked account via ach.

They won't stiff but if you are going to do ACH transfers it could be a while before you see the money. Best advice is to get the debit card, cancel the ACH's and withdraw cash at an ATM

I tried to cancel my ETF for a few times and they always told me that it wasn't possible because it was already accepted, although it wasn't in my bank account yet. Then when they listed it as pending again, I called up to cancel and the guy told me that he would send out the email to cancel it and I should have the money back in my account in 24 hours. When 24 hours passed and no money I called back and spoke to someone else who told me that the first guy was mistaken and that it could not be cancelled. The thing is that it turns out that that lady was mistaken, because a few hours later the money hit my neteller account and the transaction was cancelled. This was two days ago and I just finished taking the money out of the atm without any problems. So I would definately try to cancel it. Just keep calling back and talking to someone else until you get the right answer.

doing what you suggest would take even longer for me and others here. If I don't see any money by the end of next week then I may reconsider my approach.

just did mine and she was friendly and said that Neteller reccommends this process.

How long did it from the phone call to cancel EFT to seeing money in account again?

Probably depends how much you have WVU. For some people the debit card is better but if you have real big balances the logistics of it could become difficult. On SBR's homepage they said ACH's could take until the end of Feb. First it was 2 weeks now SBR says a month, not sure what to believe when you get this type of info and nothing from Neteller. I decided to do the debit card and get the cash. I hate paying the fees but I will have piece of mind once it all out
