Strictly from a public relations standpoint, Lebron handled himself very well
Been in the field for a long time and been around a lot of talented professionals and some true idiots.
Although I feel the entire campaign was ridiculous including his "decision" and his charade to pretend like this scheme wasn't hatched two years ago was disgusting Lebron handled himself very well on camera and in delivering his messages.
From a public relations standpoint, his messages were very polished and he knew exactly what to say and more importantly, what not to say. Even when ESPN tried to derail him with pictures of this jersey being burned (could've been in the ESPN studio for all we know) he remained focused and stayed calm and cool. Even when his former owner ripped him like no other, he didn't respond. He stayed on track and focused.
That said, Lebron is not the most polished speaker and has his challenges with his grammar but all in all he did great. He is being coached well on his body language, presentation and message delivery.
Contrast this with the Tiger Woods situation and we'll all agree that Lebron is heads and tails above Tiger. You can tell Tiger does not take instruction well and Lebron understands there are people smarter than him helping him along the way during the process. Tiger avoids questions and then answers with about 4 words where as Lebron answers the question and delivers a key message about his situation. He seems to be a savy young man.
I think he'd be a dream client but I don't know for sure.
