Seth Russell for sure would have made a difference for Baylor. But it still doesn't hide the fact that they are a bad defensive team who have played a very soft schedule for the last few years. That stuff eventually catches up with you. Gotta give OU props, they don't duck anybody in college football.

Fellas, its all a moot point. Until the P5 comes out and says play more OOC games against one another instead of against these directional and FCS schools, its all a moot point. I agree about this edition of the Sooners. Much better than the other overrated editions of the Sooners. Mayfield seems to have the "it" factor that could be huge down the stretch. On another note, I can't believe how many people think Baylor is just going to waltz into Stillwater on a cold Saturday night and easily take care of business with a backup QB who may or may not be hurt. Plus Briles and this team have huge egos. They got hit like a ton of bricks with that home loss. They never saw that coming. Watch out for the hangover affect this week from a first loss last in the season. I've seen it happen more times than I can count.

OU wouldn't be a shock at all if they win out and get it. They are a "money maker" team for the NCAA. The playoff committee always welcomes bluebloods. But you still have to take care of business.
