For the life of me I can never comprehend these threads. Once Alabama lost a game I quit looking at polls. They need to win.....period. If they get past LSU this weekend, they have a real shot. Baylor really can't say anything now can they? The only ranked team they've played is Texas Tech. Let's get back to Baylor after they've played Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, and TCU. If they are undefeated then.....this post is stupid, and in fact could have Alabama and Baylor in the Top 4. I mean lets put Baylor in when they've played no one, and if Alabama loses LSU Saturday they are not in the Four.
Shouldn't turning the ball over 5 times be significant in terms of downgrading a team? Should all teams that turn the ball over get a pass? Isn't that something good teams don't do, turn the ball over?
Alabama has beaten at the time an undefeated Wisconsin, Georgia, Texas A&M, and if they win Saturday, LSU. That would be impressive. If they lose its over.....

yet teams with mobile QBs that run the spread option well seem to light up the Bama defense year after year....this happens to be a year only LSU seems to have a legit offense in the SEC. Fla has shown flashes I suppose....but still inconsistent. Ole Miss too.....

Florida's offense stinks. Yes, they've shown flashes....but don't most bad offenses? The OL is too young for any consistency. Honestly, I'm happy w/ where UF is ranked in this poll. I think they win at least 3 of next 4 (FSU game is a toss-up) and then get stomped in the SECCG. Great season regardless. I expected 7-5...or no better than 8-4. That looks like a lock.
LSU out rushed Bama last year 183-106. Game never goes to OT if not for a bullshit 15 yard penalty on LSU with 1:30 left. If not for that, LSU runs out the clock and wins. Now, fast forward one year. LSU is MUCH better than last year. To me, Bama 2015 is inferior to Bama 2014. LSU should take care of Bama and at least end the Bama talk for 2015
I have no problem with the polls because they are certain to change a couple times. If a b12 team goes undefeated they will get in. Looks like the Pac will be on the outside looking in at this point. Clemson loses down the stretch the acc is out. Would love to see Bama win and remain in the top 4....Miss wins out and UF beats them in the SECCG....controversy looms this year.
Polls (rankings) are for the "fun-of-it" Enfuego......We all love polls whether they are conducted to rank college football or basketball teams or politicians (yak)....it allows us to see where our team or a political candidate stands based on the opinion of others....... it makes us feel good (or bad) when we see the results of these polls............Most importantly, always consider the source (who conducts these polls).....they can be rigged and, never rely on polls when sports betting.
