For you guys that don't understand contracts and real estate......something isn't sold until after it closes. It can be under contract, but to deem something sold you have to have a closing or a transfer of owner ship in some sort of a legal setting.

If the title and monies have been transferred and received it has been sold.

Your infatuation with me is fun to watch. From the beginning you have been jealous. You need to lock it up. This is not a good look for you.

Typical response. Standard operating procedure. You use the same lines with everyone. Anyone that doesn't like you is infatuated, jealous or a loon. Hard to take this crap seriously anymore.

Yet you still keep coming back talking about me, lol. Do you ever see me chasing you down talking about you? Absolutely not. Not really that important.

That's one definition of sold. Whenever something is agreed upon on price and the item is no longer for sale it has been sold. You can call it pending, or sold pending confirmation, etc.

Albatross, we all get it except for the one poster that thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. I honestly think he and Donald both have dementia.

No it is not. You can't be this naïve.

Houses fall out of escrow all the time and when they do, they are switched from "pending" back to "on the market." Nothing is sold until money exchanges hands.

Dude, you post 100+ times a day. It's impossible to not come across your posts in here or the political forum. I'd also add, I didn't address you in this thread , I disagreed with the guessers assessment of your actions. I like TG and can't understand his decision to repeatedly defend you. If you and I never interacted again on this forum I'd lose no sleep. I'll even give you credit in saying that you're an intelligent guy and I enjoy reading some of your opinions on political issues. I just don't think you know how to respectfully disagree with people.

Just like if something is sold and judges rule that the sale is not legal. Not really that hard to understand. And yes, things are sold whenever two parties agree on a price. The sale isn't final until money changes hands and there is no legal issues involved in it. If you buy something on ebay and win the auction the item has been sold to you the instant the auction ends. No different than a house or an NBA basketball team. Just different contexts.

Oh puhlease!!! You track me down all the time and your comments are always directed towards me or some condescending remark about me. You've even admitted that you like to troll me, lol.

And by the way, no matter how annoying and ridiculous you are, I would still play FF with you.

I defend him against Wrong Way. I've criticized his behavior towards Chop and Enfuego. Your problems with Aki are your own. Please don't bring me into them, as I like and respect both of you. w-thumbs!^

No it is not. Not until money and goods change hands. You are the only one on this entire forum that doesn't understand this concept.

This what I'm referring to. In the last two posts you've called me annoying, infatuated, jealous and ridiculous solely because I said you can't respectfully disagree. All good though man. I'm moving on. For the record, I agree on the FF note. I'd play with anyone and I would think the incentive to beat down someone you dislike would be appealing rather than a negative. That said, I'm not in willies shoes therefore I can't blame him for his decision.

Yeah.....deal with this every day. We tie up property all the time while we are putting a deal together but it's not ours until we close on it. We also purposely put things under contract with no intent on buying just to keep our competition out. Cost us earnest money, but well worth it in the long run. Not going to engage in a discussion on this when AK doesn't understand how the business works. I am sure the buyer has all intention to buy the Clips, but it's not his or its not sold until he closes.

The lead sentence on ESPN.com right now.

"Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling met with former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on Monday afternoon in Los Angeles to discuss the PENDING $2 BILLION sale of the franchise, sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN."

it's not a complex issue

who is listed as owner of the Clippers today?

game set match, unless of course, you're incredibly stupid

why are the attoneys for the buyer saying the offer to buy expires August 15, 2014? How can it expire when it already happened

looks like that real world experience just ain't worth much

Actually it is true based on English. But you have reading comprehension skills so I wouldn't expect you to be smart enough to understand how sold can be used in different contexts.
