One of the best posts of the thread came from the biggest asshat, but I will bump it anyway...

You are getting HORRENDOUS value if you play Ohio St. Moneyline right now. Don't do it.

Depending on what side you like, take the points with Oh st. or take Oregon on the ML imo.

+180 is available, give it time...

Enfuegos numbers were right according to ESPN : http://espn.go.com/chalk/story/_/id...n-not-cover-title-game-vs-ohio-state-buckeyes

"I'm hearing rumors that someone else is on Oregon in this game," SuperBook head oddsmaker Ed Salmons said. "I'm not going to be surprised if this line doesn't push up to minus-7."
When asked, Salmons said that "someone" is a professional bettor but did not name names.
Despite the early action on Ohio State, multiple books reported Sunday having more money on Oregon.
As of Sunday night at the William Hill sportsbook, 78 percent of all bets and 72 percent of all money wagered was on the Ducks.
The MGM was also heavy on the Oregon side, with the Ducks attracting more money than the Buckeyes by about a 3-to-2 ratio as of Sunday night, according to vice president of race and sports Jay Rood.

those charts online are not to be taken seriously in all cases. fact is 75% of all money comes in last hour. I have friends who work in the casinos. an in many cases its the opposite. most times though there are more public plays on a team but the big bets are on the other-distorting those charts.

thats the thing im always confused about. i always see some of these bigbookies type posters posting in the early part of the week that they need so and so teams already. most people i know bets in the last couple hours before the games start.

David Payne Purdum on twitter said a highly respected group came in on Ohio State at 7 which caused the line drop even though majority of bets were on Oregon!

dont know reference for this chart, but I always thought the money column meant % of bets on the money line,, and not the amount of money on each side. Generally if you look at sites that publish this info the larger % of the 'money' column will always be on the dog for NFL and college. This makes sense since the dog usually offers greater odds.

You will never be told by a casino how much exact dollars are placed on one side or another.

Think some posters that posted in this thread have some explaining to do.
