The picks should be open once there submitted, until the weekend. Agree with Willie. If they stay hidden, I'm out.

Why is there not a deadline to post plays? Before 7pm est sounds fair to me.

Is there a way to make it so once you submit your selections you can see what others are doing? And not viewable until you submit your picks. It's a one submition a day anyway so you're not going to be able to go and add or change anything.

Honestly I could care less what others are playing, there should be a deadline though for possible collusion. I know some of you are buddy buddies around here... Just sayin

When I said ...otherwise you need to keep hidden...I meant UNTIL the start of the last game, like now.

I think what JOH originally proposed makes the most sense as it satisfies those that would like to sweat some games earlier OR, like BAS said, you keep it like it is. I'm not sure I fully understand the argument about the week vs the weekend. Games start earlier, and you might not know a guy was on an early gam, but you will later. In theory, with JOHs idea, you have a better chance of sweating the 7pm+ EST games than you would otherwise if that's what you like.

And the deadline should be before more than half of the games start for the day.

because knowing what your opponent is picking becomes more important to you when trailing and the end of the week in near

unlikely people are going to change their picks early in the week, only when they're losing and it's late

Weekdays vs. the Weekend use to be used in other Contests.

The weekdays the list was left open, but Locked on the weekends because it stopped the others from seeing the other picks and didn't allow someone from trying to "Lay Up " on their weekend picks.
Meaning if the other knew you played a Huge favorite and you had a lead, you would find a dog to stay ahead if your lost the play.

At this point keep it as is for this round... But for the 2nd round there must be changes to the rules.

Maybe I misunderstood JOH's idea...but my understanding is picks would not be released until everyone has made their picks, correct? The benefit would be there's a potential for picks to be released earlier than 10:05pm EST, otherwise, if someone doesn't make an entry of any kind, nothing is released until the start of the final game like now. Easy, right?

the leader can always do a layup, but he earned that right if his lead is big enough

but it does lead to another point I missed, the leader can just play the same games as the man he's beating and be virtually guaranteed a win, so the weekends should be locked or have a deadline

I'm sure JOH, is not the only one that has access to the picks. We need a deadline and picks needs to be revealed, plain and simple.

He is the only one with access to the picks. Neither myself or any other mod Do Not have access.
