Rolls Over the Competition To Easily Become Champion
Rolls Over the Competition To Easily Become Champion
Congratulations to James Hat! He wins theRX's MLB 2nd Half Triple Elimination Tournament in grand style. In going 6-0, he proved to be a formidable opponent for anyone in his way. Amassing an overall total of 75-43-2, a 64% clip, and earning 29.86 units, he walks away with winner's gold worth $1050.
Honorable mention goes to Zapster, the runner up, who made a spectacular run... crawling from the depths of the 2nd loser's bracket early on and coming up just short of the title. Even in defeat, he makes a nice profit of $450 that should ease the wound of a first round exit in the finals.
To the remaining 13 contestants, I want to extend my thanks for making the running of this tourney a rewarding experience in that everyone followed the rules with full compliance and put up with my August illness that made things a bit dicey for a while but we persevered and remained persistent. Hopefully we can do this again. Matter of fact, there's rumblings in the Hockey Forum that this might come to fruition sooner rather than later. Check it out.
