Thanks Michelangelo.....Tough road after losing the first two.....But I will keep swingin' the bat till the last pitch....!!

We enter into the final stretch where each of the final 6 rounds (last 2, if necessary) will be single match rounds, thus eliminating one contestant per round until we have our championship duo. It will be a daunting task to knock out our first finalist, that being James Hat, the undefeated James Hat. They will have to win 3 straight H2H matches to overtake him. The only saving grace is that J Hat must sit around for the next 18 days while the others knock heads and he may become rusty. He does, however, stay sharp in the Tracker Room, making a play or two a day, and does well at that. So you got to like his chances.

Meanwhile, we must bid adieu to Betallsports, who ran into a buzzsaw in the ever-steady Zapster. Zap's performance mirrors what he has been showing in the Tracker Room this season so you knew Betall would be up against it. BAS has a pretty good rep around here so you figured it would be a contested matchup but Zap would take no prisoners.

Round 9 starts today and there's no rest for Zapster as he meets his next foe in mountain. Livin' the Family Life! and ChugsMagee respectively, await the outcomes in front of them.

It's not addressed in the rules but it could act as a hedge in a way which I'd prefer we try to avoid. Instead of limiting losses let's strive to maximize gains.
