The "ides of Wrigley" has played havoc so many times over the years (it's all about Lake Michigan).
On Michigan Avenue, I've seen the wind coming at you from 4 differant directions (at the same time).

while there are exceptions to every rule , the wind at wrigley usually doesnt blow out as much at night as it does in the day ... however , the same can be said about the wind blowing in.

night is usually more neutral.

I wrote this already wonder where it went. Zen or Zes starts in and around 1079. Started from Templegrad's thread with statistics. Way beyond my math skills.

Will we have a pdws while Pops is away? If so, thanks to those helping out.

Thought Pops was going to post one but not until later. Also needs to get his equipment set up.

wednesday may 19th. i think

today's pdws and updated mlb master and sharing data below.

d/n history is fixed thanks to oil, and so it the pdws times as well. they are now all shown as pst

going to be a busy day today, bunch of business to take care of. dont see many changes coming so all should be good to go

looks like everything was a push yesterday

there should be at least one waldo in play today and a couple of zen's as well that are on the pdws

hungry and going to bf

Guys, I must have missed it somewhere along the 1,300 posts and can't seem to find it, but what are the CAT ranges for M1-M5 and P1-P5 and what do they mean? I know they are referencing O/U's but wasn't sure on the ranges...

All the ranges are on the master under the Cat range page.

Hence my question CTP. Are you referring to "O/U Differences" and 1-6 on the CAT Ranges tab? On the most recent Master I see no reference to "M" or "P" on the CAT Ranges tab.

all of the cat's are in a tab in the master (red tab CAT Ranges)

they are all listed below as well. easiest part is if you dont like my ranges just put new ones in that tab in the area you want to change and than delete all the info in the master relating to them and run the macro for that one and you get the results using your own numbers

i have time for a few more question, that i'll be out for a while

pops i have no problem with your CAT Ranges. Maybe I'm not asking the right question. I simply don't understand what "M" and "P" are referencing. I see they are related to O/U Differences, as evidenced by the column on AL & NL Combined, but don't understand what M and P mean.

I'm not an Excel moron

M=Mo runs that the home and away era's of the starting pitchers

eg. combined era are 40.00 and the o/u is 8 so you would be mo potential runs based on the era's vs the Opening o/u number so M1 thru 6

your not a moron, just my lettering wanted to use m and L but though many would call it lost so i just chose those letters. could be a and b etc
P=Positive combined ear's home and away of the starting pitchers

eg. combined era of 1.50 and o/u of 11 vs teh opening o/u number so P1 thru 6 (and you have what the values are in those ranges in the post earlier)

I have been playing the under on M1 and M3 in the NL and M3 in the AL.

Someone please tell me if I've got it backwards. Thanks and gl.

Pops, looking at the pdws am I too far behind to ask where the zen category is or what columns are used to make zen 1,2 and so forth?
