With one day left in the Preseason, I have pretty much clinched another successful Preseason run as we all gear up for the regular season...
Preseason bets: 5-1, +$395
All picks: 58-39-2
#1 picks: 11-7
Unless something really jumps out at me on Friday, I will not bet anything and finish with that 5-1 record, but I will post all picks of course...
I have come up with a betting strategy for this season that should allow me to bet more plays...We'll see...I will unveil it before the regular season begins...I have bet less and less games over the last few years and found more success doing it that way...I haven't settled on the number of plays I'll make a week or even per day (doubt if I bet every day), but I will rank all sides and totals and do some write-ups every day, even if there are no bets...
I hope everyone on this forum has a successful and profitable 2008-09 NBA regular season...

All underdogs are now 61-40-2 during the preseason after a 2-6 night last night...
Unders are 55-47-2 this preseason...Unders 4-4 last night after a 9-5 stretch the previous 2 days after the Overs went 12-2 the previous 3 days...
Haven't looked too hard at the card tonight as nothing really jumped out...
I looked at the final day of the preseaon the last 4 years and found:
Favorites:
2004: 4-2
2005: 3-3
2006: 5-2
2007: 6-5 and the overs were 6-5
So I said yesterday the FAVs may finish strong the last 2 days, and well, they were 6-2 yesterday...
Chicago looked horrible their first few Preseason games, going 0-3, but now they look a lot better over their past 4 games, going 3-1 against teams doing well in the preseason, especially DAL and MIN, who they beat on the road their last 2 games...MILW is coming off a game last night where Redd played 31 minutes, so I wonder if he'll play much and I just think that this is a good spot for the Bulls, even though the line is moving up...
Same with SA as Miami played last night...I hate laying those points in the Preseason, but for me, it's play SA or i's a no-play...The Clips look really anemic without Baron Davis and Marcus Camby, so Denver is the play, IMO...
