Here here, I totally agree and already decided this morning I would stop playing this system today. I do hope you return with it next summer as it is a great way to pass the summer while waiting for fball. (plus it can make $$):)<<
As always thanks for sharing the ahrd work and we'll see ya in 3 weeks when NFL starts for real.

great job MJ, so are you completely done with baseball now with all of your systems?

I think so...I need some down time and get ready for the NFL...and the NBA is really just around the corner as well.

As much as I try to remove my emotions from this stuff...it can be stressful.

You can't help but live and die a little with picks that are followed by others. You have to experience it to really know what I'm talking about.

When week #1 of the NFL starts I'll be ready...and it will be fun again, but this has become a bit of a grind.

I'll keep doing what I do with the systems that I have...I enjoy this. But I have to pace myself a little bit and it's time to recharge.

The newbies can learn a lot from your actions MJ. The hardest part is knowing when to quit. Money management is more vital to a handicappers success than even picking winners.

Don't sweat it MJ... you will make it back in BUCKET LOADS in NFL man... oh and NBA isn't that far away either.. those are your two definite strong suits..

Bases can be very frustrating... don't sweat it man... let's get ready for football.

huh? if you start a system that shows a profit why would you quit it? two months is nothing. there's alot of season left.

a new system needs to prove itself. i have a new system that has gone 9-0 the last two weeks. should i quit too?

you should only quit if you don't have faith in the system showing a profit, otherwise you're quitting a profit. august shouldn't have any different impact on results from july. september, maybe.

Thank-you MJ,

I have learned a lot from you. I just wish you could teach me to express my thoughts as well as you do!!!

just quickly going back to something I mentioned a few posts back .....even this week I believe that detroit and Texas should have qualified. Maybe you added a filter that disqualifies some winners?

Any ways thanks again.... and you rock MJ

Thanks for your contribution MJ. I know you hate losing, but the only way to know if the system has legs and can turn a profit is to let it run its course. If you don't want to risk money just run the system and see how it pans out on paper. Either way, good luck.

MJ, thanks for the summer fun. I've learned many things by tailing and observing you. Love how you have a system and you always stick to it. Just like the NBA it seems to get tougher towards the end of the season. Probably the hardest thing to do in handicapping is to know when to stop and you seem to have a good feel for that. Enjoy your down time and thanks again!

Look, it is up to you if you want to quit a system or not. Maybe your system will produce more winners or maybe not. But there is nothing wrong about cashing in your chips. I have been around long enough to see people go on a good run in a system and then give it all back.

MLB is an absolute grind , you have provided a winning system for many to follow & those who followed made some very serious $$$. Just wanted to thank you for your time & efforts, it was always appreciated, thank you!:103631605

I was already only playing your NFL plays at this point. May be a bad streak but you should still track the system to see if it bounces back.

MJ, Thanks for doing what you do and for taking the time to share it with the board. I am a fellow researcher and know what it takes to develop successful systems. You make it look easy. It is anything but that.

I am currently working with your two game chase concept and am about to nail Seattle at 200/510 in the second game of my chase. Of course the underpinnings of the core system are different from what you have used here but you made a believer of me re the two game concept. That concept landed me on a juicy winner tonight (as well as others).

Best of luck going forward.
