Chris Mathews at least will tell it like it is - he just said, "How does Obama not read this as a referendum on his policies?"

Ive really been blown away at some of the things Mathews has said the last 6 months.
I almost respect him now.

Willie is a racist. I'm talking about ideologies here, not race.

No, you are basically taking a whole group of people and labeling them dumb because they did not collectively vote for the guy you wanted them to vote for.

Basically the same thing Willie did.

No, I'm labeling the South dumb because they vote for dumb candidates. Doesn't mean there aren't smart people in the South. And it still has nothing to do with race. If someone says they hate Nazis does that mean they are racists towards white people? You're looking dumb here.

Don't feel too bad AK, in two years when the GOP wins the White House, you guys can go back to pretending to be anti-war, and caring about poor people, so it's really win win for your soul.

Obama literally got every Dem fired on every level - CT, Maine, Maryland and MA have Republican Governors - Obama has Ebola

[h=1]HISTORIC POWER SHIFT: Republicans seize SEVEN Senate seats from Democrats and hold 15 more as dramatic wins put US Senate in GOP control with 52 seats for the first time in a decade[/h]
  • Joni Ernst in Iowa was the cake and Thom Tillis in North Carolina was the icing as Republicans will control ALL of Congress
  • Rep. Cory Gardner in Colorado, Rep. Shelley Moore Capito in West Virginia, Mike Rounds in South Dakota, Tom Cotton in Arkansas, David Perdue in Georgia and Steve Daines in Montana had set the stage and brought the magic number to just one
  • All 15 Republican incumbents whose races are over have held their seats; the GOP isn't expected to lose a single incumbent to the Democrats
  • McConnell won easily in Kentucky and will likely run the Senate in 2015; South Carolinians Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham cruised to victory
  • Democrat Jeanne Shaheen held on to a crucial Democratic seat in New Hampshire, where Fox News courted controversy by broadcasting exit polls before voting was over
  • Louisiana will go to a recount in December, but the result won't affect the big picture
  • Tight contest in Virginia is still too close to call, and Alaskans are still voting
