So does anyone that has posted in this thread have any casino work experience where you have access to the real numbers?

Between corporate greed, player indifference and hustlers like "Bob Dancer" it has become extinct. A lot of urban legends from others. Roulette is a strong game for every casino. Few casinos in Vegas keep thermostats set at 68. Too hot outside to maintain it and the power bill gets out of control. Most are set in the mid 70's and really only feel that way late at night when there are less bodies on floor generating heat.

Here's what little I know from working in casinos.
Air was exchanged 7 times per hour. Fresh air, nothing more.
All slot payoffs are based on 10 milion spins. No less. I tols this to players all the time when they complained that they had lost $1000 without hitting a jackpot. That always gave them some perspective.

I read tons of books and used many systems...I can set and to some degree control the dice...during a 15 day casino vaca...I won EVERY day playing craps, and I played over 10 hours a day. I got comped 12 bucks an hour at one point.just for playing. I got free rooms drinks and more. best vacation ever. that was I 2005...seams much tougher to win big now...but I still have some monster rolls every month..if u know how to press your bets up...u can make BIG $ fast. This was in 05' at 5 if Atlantic City casinos.
I know one thing for a fact because me and friend proved it after losing over $1000 each in local PA casinos and tracking how many people won as per $100 played to be 45% on all slots. Last week we decided to boogie back down to Atlantic city where we know the odds are better on slots.
Reason we know is becuase he read in a book one time long ago about how the NJ casinos odds are controlled by the State That thier overall take on the floor for slots is 18% PERIOD. NOT per machine for the floor they get 18 cents on every dollar played.
So we went down he played his poker game 7 stud a $5 - $10 limit for 5 hours then joined me playing slots ....
i was down $275 HE said i'm feeling hot tonight come with me .......
walks around the 2 cent penny slots 1st touching the machines with his hand ....... LOL it works trust me each machines temperature will vary more plays means either it was taking a lot or paid out recently ......
HE sits me down at one machine the Magic Unicorn .has the stop feature to stop wheels when you want .
put in my $20 and machine was on target normal spinning hit once within 3 or 5 spins after any win well kaboom i hit the big one two wild unicorns with the golden lion heads 3 coins bet per line which was 6 cents bet on 25 lines credits shown won was 114765 which was a huge win
2,295.30 i played off the odd 30 cents and was so giddy i couldn't stop my self from laughing ..so because it was over amount to collect at machines i got paid by hand ,,,,,,,,,,,, tipped the workers 10 $ which they kinda scorned me at i snapped back with hey when i lose what do you give me?

SO my Buddy boy is playing over at nickel slots and he's grinning from ear to ear hit the free spins 15 free spins with 3 bets per line and he won more free spins which was when i walked over .......... and again he wins 15 more free spins the machine was jackpotting ..... means puking it up .....
HE won like $55598.75 ...... SO after he gets paid we walk around to see the other machines near us and sure enough most of them were taking money only saw 3 people out of 10 winning.
OK now back to Local Casinos Bill tried the latest new one up at Valley forge because when you first go in you have to sign up for card and they give you $20 credit to play with on slots ..
well wind up was he said never go back two machines went for 20 spins with zero hits. When your playing a 40 line penny slot with 2 bets per line
that's .80 per spin X 20 = $16 lost plus what you lost before that ........... HE didn't lose much that night only $100 but has never stepped foot in that tiny hell hole again .....yes very small sized casino .....
HE said never has he ever found any slot machine in AC go 20 spins without a hit most he said was 15 ...........
HE only plays poker , Craps and slots and only in the Casinos he knows where the slots pay out like they should ......... I'm like no matter what casino i gamble in it's same for me win about 60% of the time down in NJ but here local in PA WE proved it i'm losing 60% of the time. THE wins never recover the losses. Neither me or him has won twice in same week huge money any way. HE won 3 times all small money $50 ... $75 ... $60 but was down like $80 each time ..... so thats it we are strictly playing down the shore even tho it cost way more Gas n tolls .parking is free for us ....... as it should be for regular players that go in with $500 to $1000 each trip.
