That and the lack of education on the gambler's part with respect to odds keeps these "corporations" reeling in the cash.

#2 is also correct for the average gambler who will lose more than the comps are worth. This is not true of a player who knows how to beat the system.

tennis, if you are going to play blackjack and don't know what you are doing, well that does hurt me because i think most people expect you to at least follow standard blackjack play. but i will say it seems more often than not when people play stupid it screws the table, for example the dealer has a five showing, this girl next to me has a 13 against a dealers 5, she hits, she gets a 7, she is all excited she has a 20, dealer flips a 10 for 15 the 7 would have busted the dealer, instead she took the 7 the dealer flips up a 4 for 19, my 18 and 100 dollar bet loses, her 20 and 10 dollar bet wins but the rest of the table lost when the entire table should have won. At this specific casino people do this all the time.
So if you have a 12 and the dealer has a face, you stay. So you are counting on the dealer busting, thus the dealer has to have a 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 then in turn follow that with a card that will bust them, clearly the odds are not in your favor with that play.

Roulette has the one of the highest house edges any game in the casino. 5.26%
And craps (depending on which bets you make) has one of the lowest house edges of any game in the casino. The Pass/Don't Pass/Come lines have house edges of 1.41%/1.364%/1.41% respectively, and takes no skill. An unskilled blackjack player would be better off playing craps, so long as they stick to those bets.
pumping additional oxygen into the air??Actually even more prevelant than aromas being put into the ventilation system of casinos is two other much more common practices.
1. KEEPING TEMP BELOW 68 DEGREES
2. PUMPING ADDITIONAL OXYGEN INTO THE AIR
Both methods keep gamblers alert and energized, thus staying longer in the casino.
