Bottom line is you can't be a double digit favorite in every game(-21,-12,-24,-16,-28,-42,-15.5,-45,-22.5,-24,-33.5, &
-32) and lose to a 4 loss team favored by 24 and expect to play for a national title. When you are favored that much on the road you are playing some pretty bad teams. USC may be the best team, but who the hell knows. Their best win against Ohio st was without their top running back and a dual qb system. I believe USC still wins if played today, but this was their signature win and the big ten is another weak conference. Again USC may be the best team, but the BCS did not make their schedule. USC either needs to give up some athletes so their conference is more competitive, or move to the big 12 or sec so they can lose one and still get in.
