If the Florida Gators or Oklahoma Sooners played USC at USC?

Ohio St is better than any team OU or Texas have beaten all year (minus TX beating OU of coarse)..

On a neutral field I would have Oh St -8 vs Ok St, and -4 at the very least vs Tech. Way more talent on the field for Ohio St. Strictly talent wise Ohio St might be #2 or 3 this year.

I will respectfully disagree. Oklahoma State would beat Ohio State. Cincinnati would have a strong chance to do so as well. TCU if they could score some would beat them as well.

Doesn't matter as USC beats all the teams listed.

I do agree Ohio St is a good team. I also believe that at the point in the year they played Ohio St didn't have it all together, I believe in a rematch Ohio St would win vs USC. I also believe Ohio St could take ok st and Tech. As I also believe that USC could take Tech or OK st. However, USC could not hang with Texas, OU, or Florida. USC just doesn't have it firing on offense this year, I do give them props on the defense.

You can't be serious! So from what you have seen of Ohio State, you think they have improved by 33 points to actually beat USC. The answer is a resounding no! USC's offense is not playing to its full capability as Sark is a horrible O.C. but if they would let it rip, no one would stop them.

And there it is..the benefit of the doubt USC always gets because they're so overhyped all the time. If psu wins or keeps it really close...USC just didnt feel like playing..or didnt bring their "A" game...but of course..."they would still win that game 9 out of 10x" because i say so and the media says so. Its amazing how all their losses are always explained away that way....how about letting the on field play and results dictate how good t these teams are...not recruiting rankings and espn. I totally agree with Krnboey.

Hyped means described in unrealistic terms that tend to overemphasize something really great. In USC's case, the media thinks so but that isn't what makes them great. USC is great because they have continued to be the dominating team no matter who or where they play them. That's on the record and that is not "hype."

Remember Auburn when they were good? USC beat them at home at @ Auburn both. They beat Notre Dame (when they were good) year after year. They beat VT (when they were good), BYU, Michigan (#4), Colorado (ranked), Nebraska twice, Iowa (#3), Oklahoma (killed them in the NC), Arkansas twice (2 embarassments) and Ohio St. (limited them to a FG), only (#1 ranked) Ohio St. and BYU in LA only, all the rest on a neutral field or on the road at their house (Ohio St. next year.)

Name ANY team that has EVER accomplished even just a winning record vs that many ranked teams on ANY field over the last 7 years. But USC didn't lose a single game to any of them.

Oh and by the way, the year they lost to Texas in the NC game, they played the entire year with 7 first string defensive starters hurt in fall camp and yet they got to the NC game anyway.

What the fuck is wrong with you people? Can't you see from their riduculous abundance of wins vs ranked teams over recent years why they are so loved by the media? Damn, some of you redefine the word "stupid."

Take my word for it as a Sooners fan, I can't stand USC. But ya'll better hope we don't go to a playoff system anytme soon or this team is going to Crack some Nutts every year, and your going to get tired of seeing the #1 in front of their name when all is said and done. Face it, this team has more talent and depth to be able to go through an 8 or 12 team playoff like a knife through butter, than any team in the country. I don't think this string will last forever. But right now you don't want to fuck with this team in a playoff round robin.. As much as I hate the BCS, I would almost like to keep things the way they are now until USC comes back down to earth with their talent advantage. Just let them lose their token annual game in the Pac-1 every year, and keep them in the Rose Bowl away from the BCS title game, and I'll be a happy camper.

Easy to dominate on the west coast...too bad they lose to 20-40 point dogs every year or you would probably have a good case for USC....

This season was just anothr reason why there should be some sort of playoff system in place....

They dominate regardless of the location. How soon we forget that a majority of their big wins were not at home & at either neutral or road locations.

Pisses me off that USC gets to play Penn St just to easy of a game. Both teams are highly over ranked. I wish they would make USC play a real team and get destroyed.

Like how the final score of the Texas-Texas Tech game was not as close as it appears. In case you forgot

39-33 %^_

It is comical you think 7 teams are better than USC. USC has proven it plays when it feels like it. Even when they play like they could care less, they still barely lose & most times win in spite of that. Why is that? Because they have the most overall talent bar none.

They played their C game against Texas & still should have won if not for shoddy officiating & a miracle drive at the end. One call made correctly & the results are different.

USC would beat that Texas team at least 85% of the time.

Like I said, they have the best team ON PAPER, but the game isn't played on paper. I'm saying they are the 7th best team THIS YEAR. I'm sure they had been the best team in the last 8 years or so, but not THIS YEAR.

Playing when it feels like is not an excuse for them losing. How can a team that doesn't feel like playing all their games be so good? Do they think just because they're USC, they should just show up and play in the NC game? They don't deserve to be number one or number six THIS YEAR.

I live in SoCal, all they talk about here is USC (with no pro team). I have no choice but to listen to USC stuff here.

Don't assume just because I don't post often here that I don't watch football or don't make money on football.

They are the best team this year. It is a shame that our stupid system doesn't let them prove it.

On a neutral field right now USC would be a favorite vs any other team.

Florida would be next.

What would these Big 12 qb's do if they were flat on their ass once in a game let alone 10 times vs USC?

Absolutely spot on here. USC seems to get caught sleepwalking every now and then but when the spotlot is on them, forget about it. They would skullfuck UF, Texas, Ok or anyone else that you put in front of them. Pete Carroll is the best big game coach in college football. Their 3 deep is nothing but 5 star blue chip recruits and that defense is about a sick as any that I can remember. As far as questioning their schedule, that is a joke. How many teams do you think are calling USC asking for a home and home? Ohio St tried it and got sent packing in a 5 touchdown beatdown.
