+250? I see that on the "draw" on betroyal. I see -200 on Russia (as I did late this morning).

yes

yes joepro, i dont know why but it was at +250 russia money line, after i played it about 2 mins later it went back to -200, i put $500 and it was to win $1250

the wager was accepted, they offereed it to me and i accepted it and now they took it away, i dont know if it was a misprint or what but its bullsh!t either way, this has happened with me at other books where they put up the wrong line by accident but they all have said it was their fault and they all honored the wager, i have won some and lost other but they have ALL accepted the wager... except betroyal... i will be calling them when i get off work and if they dont fix my problem then i will be taking my money out of my account there

i also called in to get russia -1 at even money, i wanted to put $1000 to win $1000 and they said that the max wager was 250, i have made wagers there many times before that were way over the max wager and they would accept it, why is this different?

they told me that while i was on the phone that i could make a larger wager but it would be at -130 ... FVCK that....thats why unless they make good on it when i call back, they will no longer have me as a customer and i will be warning everyone on every forum i go to about that book

Wow. Another suggestion is to let the moderators of this forum know about this. I'm not sure exactly what they can do, but it wouldn't hurt. I belong to betroyal also. So I'm interested in your situation's outcome. Good Luck!!!!

no problem, i am going to call them once i get off work and if they dont "make it right" then i will be posting this information at every forum i visit, i dont post often but love to read what other people think about the games, there are some great cappers here

betroyal has been horrible the last couple months, they used to have live betting which i loved but they havent had that in a while, their website seems to have gotten worse in terms of speed and all they do when you call is blame it on their recent move.. well they moved months ago and it isnt the customers fault that they moved, he11 i tried to call in a parley that the website wouldnt let me do it was for the side of a game and the total and their customer service said they couldnt accept it... what kind of book doesnt accept a side and total parley!??!?! i dont htink that i will be around with them much longer, not happy with the book AT ALL

Look, anyone complaining about Betroyal and this stupid line and "voided" bets needs to go back and read all of the bylaws that YOU agreed to when you signed up for an offshore sportsbook. BetRoyal, or any other book for that matter, isn't required to offer you anything, nor are they required to accept any bet you place. Without reading the exact bylaws, I'm very sure that there's a line somewhere in there that says they have the right to void bets if the lines were screwed up, and in this instance, they were clearly screwed up. It's not something that the public moved by betting it, it's something that they posted Russia to win odds on draw odds. It happens. Humans run these books. They're called mistakes. Every now and then you might find a book that decides to let the bet ride for customer satisfaction, but in this instance where everyone and their mom is getting pounded on this, they're not required to do anything. So before you go to the mods and bother them about this, it's nothing that they did wrong. They made an honest mistake, and they have the right to void any bet you make with due cause, and they certainly had due cause to cancel these bets.

Now, if customer service is lackluster, THAT'S a different story. But they're not required to keep any bet that you make... and especially after a "fix" is posted here, you're not going to get to keep bets at +250. You're lucky if you get in at -250 the way this is going. I, for one am laying off because though I believe that soccer matches are fixed, I trust no one on here (no offense to you Ace, you know I think you're great) to make sure I'm on the right side of these things. Don't like investing my money in a match I can't watch and know nothing about, just that there's been an "under the table" agreement in this match. It's still called a sport for a reason, and I have a hard time figuring a country to concede a match on their home turf when it actually means something to them. Best of luck to you all.

the thing im most pissed about is that other books are taking almost $9000 bets on this game but betroyal will take only $250? thats horrible... i was very pissed about the situation at +250, but i understand that, what i dont understand is why a book will only let you bet $250 on a game when all other books are taking $9000 bets

I was trying to figure this out, and in everything I read, it seems that this game is much more important to Russia, who has a shot at finishing at the top of their group, than Estonia who has almost no chance. The only thing I can see pushing Estonia is a revenge factor since Russia beat them 4-0 last time they played, and the fact that they are playing at home.

So what does this game mean to Estonia?

Couple things and then I won't post about this any more because it's senseless... I'm not going to pretend to know much about soccer. I'll watch the World Cup. I watched the US match against Mexico... most of it anyway... but I really don't care about this. I know that Estonia isn't THAT far back in the group and has a ton of matches to be played in qualifying. I know their chances are unrealistic of actually qualifying while Russia should qualify, but I also know that I've been instructed by several people at some points that games are "certainly rigged" and "must bets" that I have been guided to the wrong side of. I have bad experiences with games that are figured to be rigged, thus for 43% possible profit it's not worth dropping a penny on a road team that's already come closing to drawing such powerhouses as Luxemborg and Lichetenstein (pun intended before anyone laughs at me) in a place where Estonia has already proven they can win in qualifying.

And where can you drop 9K on Russia? Please let me know. I see 2K at Pinnacle, and that seems to be the most commonly used sportsbook in this place. Regardless, books also have the rights to set limits. If you don't like it, you should change books. But they have no responsibility to suit your desires as a bettor in terms of a max wager.

Again, I wish you all the best of luck. Just hope you didn't get snakebit after all of this.

Its not fixed....he/she is bullshitting....yea, ass if you can fix a
high profile WORLD CUP QUALIFIER game and get away with it once its
all over the forum!!!!!!!

I am 100% sure its not fixed, even if it was fixed, it wont be
anymore coz obviously the FIFA will look into it if it is all over
the forum that this game is fixed. If you all know, then the books
know too, and the games would go offline.

Dont listen to thes scammers and bet your entire account on this
game......

My view of this game:

Russia is obviously the better team and they are favoured to win,
however the odds are **** and there is no value in backing them.
Maybe if you can find nice odds on +1.5 spread on estonia there is
some value.

DO NOT BET ON RUSSIA THINKING THAT THIS GAME IS FIXED...RUSSIA MIGHT
WIN...BUT ITS NOT FIXED! WHO WOULD FIX A GAME WITH SUCH A LOUSY
ODDS!!! USUALLY FIXED GAMES OCCUR IN VERY LOWER DIVISIONS FROM LOCAL
LEAGUES....THE LOWER GERMAN DIVISIONS GAMES ARE THE RECENTS THAT GOT
CAUGHT. IT WILL BE HARD TO FIND ANY FIXED GAME IN THE NEAR FUTURE IN
ANY SOCCER GAME BECAUSE THE INVESTIGATORS ARE SO TIGHT AFTER THE
LATEST GERMAN SCANDAL!

Re: WARNING: Russia/Estonia Soccer is NOT FIX

yea russia will probably win, but it wont be an easy win...estonia is
used to playing in conditions like russia, they will definitely
defend to their death and try for a draw. This is a no bet game for
me, but i think i will back the +1.5 on estonia if i have to bet.

down below u said if the game was fixed the books would take the game
offline. thats not true the books know of many games a week that are
fixed, they don't take them offline becuase it is usually fixed in
their favor to make $$$. there a re hundreds of games a year that
are fixed.

Re: WARNING: Russia/Estonia Soccer is NOT FIX

Anyone can type a post claiming any game is fixed...the people who
believe such nonsense probably reads The Weekly World News.

I'll take Russia anyway...my first soccer bet. What the hell you
never know. By the way, this week's Weekly World News has a great
story of lesbian aliens abducting bigfoot. I can't wait for next
week's issue!

Purewinners, your post is actually

as silly as the guy posting the game is fixed.
first off unless you can prove your 100 percnt statement that the
game isnt fixed, you shouldnt be making comments like that, cause
truthfully nobody outside of who could be conducting the fix actually
knows.

The reason the line came out like this is because Russia historically struggles on the road. Personally, it would not be a shock to me if they drew this game. Although, I love soccer however, I must concede that a lot of soccer is rigged. I'm sure most of you have seen the news that some refs fixed German Bundesliga games and one of these refs even claimed that he helped fix Champions League games. However, in almost all of these instances the teams involved were club teams, not international teams. To my knowledge, there have been only a few rigged international games. Most notably the 1982 Group Stage game involving either East Germany or West Germany (I can't remember which) and the talk of the Sweden-Denmark game drawing at 2-2 in Euro 2004 to screw the Azzuris. I really don't think "the fix is in" on this game, but I wish you all luck. Das rodina!

More thoughts on this game:

Russia has played 3 road qualifiers so far in this tournament.
Against Portugal, Russia lost 7-1
Against Luxembourg, Russia won 4-0
Against Liechtenstein, Russia won 2-1.

Now Portugal is a good team, but 7-1 is ridiculous. Liechtenstein is a horrible team and Russia only beat this team by 1 freakin goal, thats embarassing. People might say
that they DID beat Luxembourg 4-0, but Luxembourg has exactly 0 points in 6 games. Truth is that Russia just struggles in road games. Also, Estonia will be upset that they lost to Russia 4-0 on their meeting in Russia. Throw in the fact that there is a historic rivalry between these two teams and Estonia being only 3 pts out of qualifying and I think we will see a draw out of this game. Just beware before you play this.

Russia over 2 1/2 -110 at 5 dimes seems like a great play with the above information. this looks like a 3-1 final for Russia.

The 7-1 loss that Russia suffered at the hands of Portugal was back on October 13 of last year. Portugal were desperate to redeem themselves after a 2-2 draw against Liechtenstein. They ran up the score against a SEVERELY depleted Russian side in order to wipe out the memory of their previous poor performance. Russia were missing SEVERAL key players due to injury and suspensions. The second stringers were like deer caught in the headlights when they travelled to Portugal and were faced with the task of playing the team that almost won EURO 2004 in August. A 2-1 victory for Russia, on the road, over Liechtenstein is a very good result when you consider that Portugal, one of the true world powers in soccer, could only manage a tie against the same opponent.

The 7-1 result is by no means indicative of how Russia plays on the road and I don't expect them to struggle in this match against Estonia. The idea that this match is fixed may very well be true but it would be more like an insurance policy as it is a very important game for Russia and Estonia will NEVER qualify for the 2006 World Cup. Russia will dispose of Estonia tomorrow and a scoreline of 3-1 sounds just about right, trytrytry, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was by a larger margin.
