I know it is Voodoo, however why do players insist on giving early scores? Is there a prize for chirping first? Is there any advantage? Can they list any winners from this practice? I got hurt today and I am frustrated.

It was a calculated stake that i am happy to bet. I had a good night on some other games and overall was only a small amount down.

I probably wouldn't have bet on Russia as they have been in bad form, especially vs Liechtenstein at the weekend. This thread allowed me to talk myself into placing a bet that deep down i didn't like. I suppose at the very least i have re-learnt an important lesson in capping my own games.
