Steve Sommers, the self-proclaimed Schmooz (LOSER), can join those other losers and cry all they want, but the bottom line is that Mets fans are primarily freaks. Go to Citi Field and checkout some of the cretins that go to the game after they have been hanging out at the convenience store all day, living off their SSI, trying to pickup underage teenage girls.

WOW! Just saw how this game ended on the local sports.

The Mets fucked up bad. That one play sums up the Mets.

After dropping 3 straight to the Red Sox, I obviously need to project my frustration.

this is like you Holding A(s) A(c) and you go all in pre-flop and some one else has A(d) A(h) and calls... and the flop comes 2(h) 3(h) 8(h) K(h) J(d) and you lose to a flush ..........

good analogy

met fans are usually giant fans
Other way around.
As a rule of thumb, not always entirely true, Jets fans are Met fans, and Yankee fans are Giant fans.

Typically, Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island are Mets turf, Manhattan and the Bronx are Yankee fans.
New Jersey is usually split, until you get to the Toms River area and south, that's where the Phillie fans come in.
Staten Island seems to fluctuate.

this is b/c the jets used to train in long island and play in queens. but in the future, i think jets fans will be more diverse, as they no longer have any connection with long island and queens.they now play and train in new jersey.
as for brooklyn, most (nearly all) brooklyn dodgers fans became mets fans b/c of the bad blood with the giants and yankees. nowadays, young fans in brooklyn have no connection to the mets, so more nyy fans born and raised in brooklyn like me.:103631605
