We are able to confirm that the shows will not be Chris Benoit tribute shows neither will they include anything about the “Mr. McMahon is dead” storyline. To the best of our knowledge, all plans for the McMahon angle have been called off.

WWE Pulls All Chris Benoit Merchandise

WWE's Shopzone web site has pulled all Chris Benoit merchandise. Searches for Benoit's name on the web site's search engine all return the result "discontinued."

as for speculation of when each one died, autopsy results should give a good indication of time of death of all 3 involved.

I read a report where the DA said that the public will find the circumstances of the deaths extremely bizarre. He did say that there were no gunshot wounds and that they were waiting for the crime lab to confirm the causes of death.

Knifewounds would be something that wouldn't need to be confirmed. Strangulation would probably be obvious also.

I wonder if he poisoned them.

Benoit Update: Text Messages To Chavo, More

CNN had a live report from just outside of the Benoit home earlier this morning. The investigator interviewed said they don't feel there is a "killer at large," but haven't ruled out that Benoit, wife Nancy, and son Daniel may have all been murdered although it is unlikely. The investigation team will spend most of the day at the Benoit home finishing up their on going investigation. The investigator said they would know more in a few days.

According to reports, Chris Benoit sent some curious text messages on Sunday to Chavo Guerrero. WWE's Vice President of Government Relations, Richard Hering, ended up calling the Fayette County sheriffs on Monday requesting they check the Benoit residence.

It's clear that the WWE are the ones who alerted law enforement that something was wrong.

Common sense dictates that the WWE must have had an inkling that Benoit did something heinous here.

What doesn't make sense is why they would run the tribute show and then pull it all down off the website today.

I guess it's possible that they didn't suspect Benoit was guilty of the alleged murder suicide, but the circumstances are very shady. I doubt McMahon would be so arrogant as to run a tribute show knowing that it was going to come out that Benoit slaughtered his family.

TMZ has learned more about the deaths of WWE wrestling superstar Chris Benoit, his wife and son -- and the information is extremely disturbing.

Several Atlanta-based law enforcement sources have told TMZ Benoit may have strangled his wife on Saturday, then smothered his son in his bed a day later. Investigators refuse to officially comment, pending final confirmation by the coroner on the cause and time of the deaths.

One source told TMZ that Benoit was texting friends during Sunday's WWE "Vengeance" Pay-Per-View program -- possibly watching the show with his son, who may have been alive at the time.

According to sources, Benoit then hanged himself Monday in a weight room inside the family home.

They obviously knew it was something bad but wanted to sneak in a tribute for the fans...and then act like they had no idea and take everything off their website. It was one last tribute regardless of what he did...no doubt about it.

Roids will come into play. I am sure many other things will arise but logical thought did not happen here. I have 11 and 6 year old boys and no matter how much I hate the ex I would never consider killing her much less the kids.

If he killed his son he deserves to burn in HELL.

Sorry, millions of people take steroids and don't kill their wife and children. There is no correlation whatsoever between steroid use or abuse and murder. You need an entirely different internal trigger to kill a child.

The thing to realize in a situation like this is that he probably didn't kill his son out of rage. He was probably so upset with life in general and the suffering he endured day to day that he probably thought he was helping his son by ending his life so his son never has to endure the suffering of life.
