Since this is the first of what we hope to be many friendly Rx tournaments, and we are setting this up kind of late, we will be running this a little different. Here are the rules:
We have set aside 16 slots for Rx users to sign up for. This will be a bracket style tournament. Head-to-head…mano y mano! Not a 10-player table. Go to
www.wsex.com/poker/rx.htm to reserve your spot.
The buy in is $200, and there is no fee for the house. All the money will be paid out: 65% to the winner, and 35% to the runner-up. The first 16 people to get to the page, and sign up, will be guaranteed some action. The first round will be scheduled to start at 8:00 PM (EST) with subsequent rounds starting at the conclusion of preceding rounds. We will create Texas Hold’em “Free Tables” under the 1-on-1 tab in the lobby. We will specify the table names based on the match-ups. At the beginning of each head-to-head match up, each participant will have $500.00 in tournament chips (play money). Each round concludes when one player has all the chips. The round winners move on to the second round, once again starting with $500.00 in tournament chips. This will continue until there is a lone Rx Champion.
In order to participate, you must have a funded WSEX account. For those of you who secure the 16 slots, be certain to be on-line at 8:00 PM for the start, and have $200.00 in your poker balance (see the cashier in the lobby). Everyone is welcome to view to action live, and we will keep a running tally of the action at the same link referenced above.
