Props to HD and others who had Wake, it was clearly the best side. IMHO you have to have a lot of hellacious reasons to lay big points on the road in a conference game, especially against a quality opponent. It goes beyond just picking which team is "better". You have the travel, the shooting at a new gym/rims, fan support, home cooking from the refs and so on. Very hard to win in this sport (and the NBA/NFL) if you lay a lot of chalk on the road, it just is. Probably one of the biggest faults in newer bettors is playing the "best" team when on the road and giving points away. I either take the home or away dog, or if laying chalk it's almost always on the home team. This strategy alone will make almost anyone a better player.

Anyway the point I wanted to make before getting carried away is we all miss games, CK is one of the good guys around here. Win or lose he handles himself well and doesn't talk down to anyone else. Before he started here I posted somewhere else where he posted, same there as he was here. Loves sports and loves to share his selections with others, nothing wrong with that in my book. Is he perfect? Or course not, none of us are, but there are many more around here that need to go before he does. Hope his time away is short.

love seeing people come on here and complain about a bad week because of following someone(s). Usually because that person picks and chooses the games he wants to follow from an array of different cappers. If you are going to follow on the forum I highly suggest you pick one capper to follow and you play ALL of his plays. there are a few decent cappers on this site but you are not going to win any money when you say okkkkk lets see I'll take HD's oklahoma pick, gimmedats unc pick, ck's texas pick etc etc....you should not be following 10 different cappers and expecting to make money. rant fin

Word up.

If you want a record, you can do exactly what I did last week. You can do a friggin search, and count up the wins/losses yourself. I did it on carolinakid after he pushed back on a rant I had about dog wins and lousy capping records.

IMO, if you have to ask a capper what his record is, you shouldn't be picking his touts, because you haven't read up enough in the forums to make an informed decision. There are plenty of people here who will BS their (and you know who you are).

When I first got here, I created a spreadsheet of cappers, and rated them based on how well their picks turned out. The bad ones get weeded out quick enough.

Some cappers just don't bother with records. As for me - my one pick was....yesterday - Boston Celtics at -4.5. Ya don't see me raving about my 100% record.... :)

As for why a capper goes a certain way, it seemed like no one was satisfied with ck's answer (go to another thread, then!). No one challenges mistermj about his picks - as a software developer and someone who know how computers work, I'll be the first one to be skeptical with the phrase "computer pick". Maybe ck should just say he asks his dog or puts up a dartboard. I wish I had based my picks on a dartboard in the past two weeks - might have done better than picks I used from homedawg, spreadproof, mistermj and yes, ck.

BTW - Glad we agree about ck.

you must be picking and choosing because i have had 1 losing day the past 7 days or so?

Gawd, now I have to see which pick it was, and if it won or not....just sayin' my week has been, um, less than profitable....

I can't remember if it was your thread or another, where ANOTHER game came up for discussion, and I picked it assuming it was yours, and it turned out it wasn't (and it did lose). Might have been Siena last Friday....

In any event, not meaning to disparage you or anyone else - nobody gets 100%. I'm still following...!

Two Wrongs.

Two things.

1) If you are on this forum trying to find a magical winning solution to your wagering losses and you
puruse and puruse on the forum until you find someone,
then you trail them, they have a bad streak or lose their
big game and then you bash them what's the problem.
Number one your own picks suck and number two, no
one put a gun to your head.(Also, if you're criticizing
them ,then shut the hell up and post your plays on here if you've got anything between your legs) It takes some
guts to do what he's been doing, and........................
2) CK, if this is bothering you, A) You shouldn't be doing
this then. B) Welcome to the world of handicapping and
C) Why would you even give a crap about their opinions?

and D) Is anyone getting Costley, Deangelo(NOT DeMarco) , SyndicateBettingSystems or Donn Wagner
ALL HOT as of November , the rest on the service plays are up but mostly down. These 4 have been CONSISTENT< that being the key word. Thanks.

P.S. One more thing CK,I'm not bashing you, but do what Gimme Datt and Homedogg do. If they lose they come right back with a winning ass-whipping. Keep your head up man.Get back in that saddle with guns a blazin'.
