Props to HD and others who had Wake, it was clearly the best side. IMHO you have to have a lot of hellacious reasons to lay big points on the road in a conference game, especially against a quality opponent. It goes beyond just picking which team is "better". You have the travel, the shooting at a new gym/rims, fan support, home cooking from the refs and so on. Very hard to win in this sport (and the NBA/NFL) if you lay a lot of chalk on the road, it just is. Probably one of the biggest faults in newer bettors is playing the "best" team when on the road and giving points away. I either take the home or away dog, or if laying chalk it's almost always on the home team. This strategy alone will make almost anyone a better player.
Anyway the point I wanted to make before getting carried away is we all miss games, CK is one of the good guys around here. Win or lose he handles himself well and doesn't talk down to anyone else. Before he started here I posted somewhere else where he posted, same there as he was here. Loves sports and loves to share his selections with others, nothing wrong with that in my book. Is he perfect? Or course not, none of us are, but there are many more around here that need to go before he does. Hope his time away is short.
