I always pay attention to ck's post and i must say the man has been money in most every sport over the past few years. His SIP plays hit at an insane rate fwiw, over the past few months i can only remember this UNC play and an NFL play that didnt hit. throw this aside and keep them coming CK

If you read what he said at the very beginning (not in this thread), he said that he might have a tinge of bias toward NC, and didn't really want to make a play. You folks boxed him into a corner, made him choose a pick, and poked and prodded him so much that you turned what should have been a reasonable pick into a pissing contest.

Some of you got incensed because you thought he was telling you he was more involved with the sport than the rest of you were. Well, Boo eff-ing Hoo. We all know what counts at the end of the day and the end of the game.

I think ck had to make NC a SIP just to stand up to you guys. I liked NC even before ck put in his 2 cents worth, though I didn't expect a DD win. I thought -5 was a solid play; -7, not so much. I would have considered it a 3*, maybe a 4* play. It was a tough game, and clearly Wake pretty much had the edge, for whatever reason.

My pick, NC, didn't work out. You eff-ers who choose to burn ck for his choice, well, you can all bite me.

I just don't understand this. What the hell got you guys so fired up on this one? This was just another game that happened to be HD's big play and Ck's big play. I have to say, I was on the wrong side but I gave some reasons for my selection and it just didn't pan out the way I thought in the 2nd half.

Ck seems like a good guy and he does have some pretty good nights here and is straight money in the NBA.

No reason to jump on him like this. Is this how you all react after you win? Very unnessecary.

I do think he should have provided some insight on a 7 unit play. Don't think its nessecary to post a record. Railbird doesnt, although he does have someone following him around posting records at the end of threads.

You were fine in this thread. I just didn't like people coming in right after a big loss and asking for analysis and records right after the game.

Analysis post game will do nothing. If you want his record then post it in his next thread if he has a record. Even if some intentions were good I have to admit when I read from about page 2 on it was getting a bit ridiculous.

If you want a record, you can do exactly what I did last week. You can do a friggin search, and count up the wins/losses yourself. I did it on carolinakid after he pushed back on a rant I had about dog wins and lousy capping records.

IMO, if you have to ask a capper what his record is, you shouldn't be picking his touts, because you haven't read up enough in the forums to make an informed decision. There are plenty of people here who will BS their (and you know who you are).

When I first got here, I created a spreadsheet of cappers, and rated them based on how well their picks turned out. The bad ones get weeded out quick enough.

Some cappers just don't bother with records. As for me - my one pick was....yesterday - Boston Celtics at -4.5. Ya don't see me raving about my 100% record....

As for why a capper goes a certain way, it seemed like no one was satisfied with ck's answer (go to another thread, then!). No one challenges mistermj about his picks - as a software developer and someone who know how computers work, I'll be the first one to be skeptical with the phrase "computer pick". Maybe ck should just say he asks his dog or puts up a dartboard. I wish I had based my picks on a dartboard in the past two weeks - might have done better than picks I used from homedawg, spreadproof, mistermj and yes, ck.

love seeing people come on here and complain about a bad week because of following someone(s). Usually because that person picks and chooses the games he wants to follow from an array of different cappers. If you are going to follow on the forum I highly suggest you pick one capper to follow and you play ALL of his plays. there are a few decent cappers on this site but you are not going to win any money when you say okkkkk lets see I'll take HD's oklahoma pick, gimmedats unc pick, ck's texas pick etc etc....you should not be following 10 different cappers and expecting to make money. rant fin

I don't have a problem if he doesn't post a record, but it seems like he only picked UNC because he is a fan and didn't have any other reason besides that.

I keep a record for myself and people want to follow that’s fine. I just hate people like mista who put 500 units on one play and these long write ups that nobody reads. When he wins he does these stupid icons, but loses never shows up. People crave too much attention on this board instead of actually making money which is the reason I came here.

carolina isn’t one of those guys I mentioned above though.
