any opinions/thoughts on canada vs russia tomorrow ? I put a bet in for over 5.5 ...prob gonna put one in for russia +1.5 ...
Im lookin at that russia ML, its +339 right now over at nitrogen... +339 for a team that talented has to be worth a shot? Right? I heard Price is in net, he might still be a little rusty like that first game against usa

It's a three way line I'm guessing.

As for tomorrows games I'll be taking both dogs with the points. +1.5 on Europe and +1 on Russia.

This is what Nitrogen's offering on that canada/russia game right now...Im pretty sure they gotta win it in regulation otherwise the draw would come into play.. Since its NHL rules, these exhibition / preliminary games would most likely end in a shootout (you'd think..) eliminating ties.. i could be wrong though.. Thats something i wanna figure out 100% before i place that russia ML bet

Yeah that looks to be a "3-way line", RUSSIA to Win vs. Canada to win vs. (also) DRAW so a bet on USSR loses if DRAW. or Canada victory of course.

As Reno implied to....only way +339 really makes sense...

Most generally, to eliminate DRAW from the equation, a prop gets shows as PK

For what its worth....soccer lines are even harder to decipher, at times but guaranteed, mistakes will get made by some people on the above, not realizing that a DRAW loses that bet for them :(

Russia should be hungry here, off their disappointing performance on their Hole Soil....."Preseason Game" though lol.....

Yep i just got Russia at +1.5. And over time doesn't count even on the spread on these lines. Offshore if you get PK and it goes to overtime it's a push no matter who wins the shoot out. If you have +0.5 and it goes to OT you win no matter who wins the shoot out, same with +1.

Vegas though doesn't do 3 way on hockey so their point spreads do include OT and so do their money lines.

Benn out for the tournament .And now Sequin. Wow.

It's a deep team, none the less, two high quality players are done.

interesting to see what lines they put out tonight. The Marhand-Sid-Bergeron line was dominant in Canada's first exhibition game- had 18 shots on goal!! Altho, i kinda like Sid with Giroux--unreal chemistry at the World's a few years back

Jaroslav Halak will start for Team Europe against Team Sweden Wednesday night at Verizon Center in the World Cup of Hockey preseason finale. It also appears that he will be the No. 1 goalie for Europe once the tourney begins.

let's see what the kids do Vs Czech. Russia was 1-1 vs them, scoring 4 goals in the first game and only 1 goal in the second.

is Team Europe all that bad (old and slow) or is the speed and skill of this Team North America THAT good ? (enough so to embarrass NHL caliber veterans!! )

anybody have a link to the game? stuck at work...
