It was just an exhibition game, so I don't look at it as an upset, but, I'm diggin this team USA squad.. They ain't got all the sexy names like Canada, but they can get it done.. Theyll go as far as quick takes them. He played stellar tonight. USA won the 96 World Cup on richters back, now its quicks turn. The hell with being fare, Don't even play bishop or Schneider!

Yeah this here NO THING like what we saw in that, SWEDEN nothing like the weak team we had there and, conversely, Czech Republic looks to be far less a Power here than they were in that.

IIRC you had said this months ago, that IIHFWC was nothing compared to what this would be, in regards to Strength of Squads which....yeah....night and day.

Replay of the USA-Canada game right now on ESPN. Westcoast, at least. Just dropped the puck at 10:35pm Pacific Time.

can't believe this, I'd missed the game. Replay popped up outta NOwhere, figured just "highlights" when I glanced up at TV but no, whole game.

Prolly condensed for....."Time Considerations"...as they do but for those who also missed it......Godsend.

Yeah no Quick though, Bishop and Schneider will be in net. Think Quick earned the starting job so far for the real games. Might have to bet Canada for tonight though.

Canada ml is -160 at nitro right now.. I said in my thread earlier I wasn't playin it because I don't want to lay crazy chalk on an exhibition game.. Price was rusty as hell yest , if Canada plays any other goalie besides him it'll be an upgrade.. Bishop looked rusty yest as well, if he starts tonite they might light him up a lil..

I would not personally describe pissing this Canadian Squad off more than we already have by beating them again a "Win".

They play Hockey pretty good, The Canadians. Is our Best Strategy to make them really really mad at us?
