Let's wait till they pull this one out before we make those kind of claims. They certainly look good, yes, but when it's all said and done and there headed back home 0-2, there in the same boat everyone's been in.

ill make em just due to the fact that they alone have already won me quite a bit of money......if you are a betting man i think you and I can both agree the value is there.

The ducks are the absolute best value of the playoffs.....if any team in the west can beat the wings its them.

Thier top 4 D would match up with anyones top 4 if not better. Perry, Getzlaf, and Ryan are studs.

This should be a great series and I can really see the ducks pulling this out

Very solid claim indeed!

After 2 games I think the Ducks outplayed the Wings in game one and lost and the Wings outplayed the Ducks in game two and lost. Missing a front line defenceman in Rafalski was huge against this team. If he's back by game 3 your going to see an even stronger Red Wing team. But either way....these are 2 fantastic teams and were defiantly getting our money's worth out of them.

Ducks will be even better at home...Rafalski or not. Detroit cannot contain Getzlaf, Perry & Ryan as it is now they won't get last change.

If the ducks lost that game I probably would have said the series was over for them, not because they would be down by 2 but bc the meaning of a 3 ot game. A loss like that is demoralizing to a team. That being said the wings are filled with vets and if any team can overcome a loss like that it is them.

I think the ducks now have had a huge shift in momentum go into their favor and the series is theirs to lose.

hiller is playing great some of the shots he stopped were incredible. I remember a few hossa rips that were gloved that were incredible. If he can hold up the ducks win bc face it the firepower the wings bring at you is incredible.

I beg to differ.

??? beg all you want but that line has 9 out of a possible 18 points in 2 games in Detroit. It will only get tougher in anaheim.

Going to be gone for a week & i know how you like to get the last word in so we'll have to carry on in the next round.

Of course I am just bitter cause i know:laugh: the nucks are going down

Wings came out flat in much of the first 2 periods I thought. They didnt create many great chances until the 3rd. Hiller was outstanding in OT, and his so called rebound issue was non-existant. Ducks really like putting those blistering shots from the point on Osgood again, definately trying to tee him up. Even though the Wings outshot the Ducks, it seems like they were almost switching roles, with the Wings trying to be the aggressors and outhitting the Ducks. Anaheim has been pretty smart about their penalties thus far through 2 games. Let's see if that changes. As a Wings fan, I'm not worried about the 2 games in Anaheim, Wings looked greta on the road all year. But I would like to see a little shakeup and put Zetterberg and Datsyuk back together, even if its just for a stretch.
I think Wings win one in Anaheim and this series comes back to Detroit tied at 2 games a piece.

Agreed.
They might as well just skip the next 4 games and get right to Game 7.

I think the Ducks know their in trouble. If Wings come out in game 3 and take it to them the pressure builds on the Ducks. Again..Rafalski's the key but they can win both without him. Detroit's controlled the tempo since the midway point in game one. All Anaheim has up front is the one line. With Rafalski back he and Lidstrom neutralize that line like no other. Especially if they can get Lebda off the ice. He's too small and a liability against these giants. Rafalski's return cuts his ice time in half if not more.

give me a break, Ducks know they're in trouble??? even if rafalski comes back, Ducks are the better team. granted the Ducks have the best line in hockey, others like marchant will step up and produce when it counts. Ducks are very stout at home during the playoffs.

to be honest, i think the wings are scared shitless to face the getzlaf line at home with the crowd behind them. whatever happens, IMO winner of this series lifts the cup this year.:toast:
