So X-files what you think the series line will be?

If books keep it to high they may expose themselves. this may not be such an easy call

Out of 11+ periods in this series the Ducks have outplayed the Wings in 3. 4 at the very most. This series is still far from over.

Wings got screwed over at the end.

Funny stat... Chelios played 1:07 in the first period. Just enough time to be the goat for the first goal.

Even after playing even with the Wings in Motown, and taking away
the home ice advantage, Detroit was still around a -250 favorite for
the series, close to what the series closed at before game one. So
I'd be surprised if the lines have them as a favorite going into the
next game, game 4, but who knows.

Correction, i'd be surprised if the Wings are not a favorite still.

Ducks outplayed Wings = 4 periods

Wings outplayed Ducks = 3 periods

Ducks and Wings tied = 4 periods

now that's a little farfetched. Just the OT's alone went to the Wings. Plus at least the 3rd period of the last 2 games.

It's somewhere in between yours' and Bushay's calculations.

Clearly the ref blew the call. He blew his whistle on the way to the play instead of positioning himself behind the net , then make the call.
I realize that play stops when the whistle is blown but the puck may have crossed the line before the whistle. The NHL should of reviewed it at least.

I believe it was an unreviewable play. As well as from the broadcast I watched, it wasn't even after the whistle. He was just very much out of position and lost site of the puck. The guys in the booth at FSN suggested he may have also been hesitant to not blow it dead to late as well. But the replay they played with sound showed it wasn't even after the whistle. He just lost site of it. Tough way to lose one and hopefully it all evens out in the end. Wings were definetly dominating at that point and had the Ducks completely out of gas.
