am i the only person who notices people like sure guy? the ones who live in denial, and use the term "hater" purely to keep from admitting the truth?

sorry but it's not opinion this time. if you can find one person who think rivers is better than champ fuckin bailey, bring him to us, and we'll castrate him so he can't produce. and cutler? at least that one's close but c'mon who in their right mind would take rivers over cutler?

and you guys gave brees about as much opportunity to deliver as that woman you have attempting passes currently. the line's gotten alot better and somehow rivers looks worse than brees. brees would own in that system today. rivers, is a bust and more and more people will be saying it in the coming years. the bolts front office sucks. it took a decade of high round picks to get where they are, and once that's gone, sorry to say they'll be shit again.

chargers fans seem to stick to misleading numbers and statistics to avoid what everyone else knows, and tells them. rivers sucks. tell yourself we're hating, er whatever you'll do.

next time i don't win the lottery, i'll call the lotto commission, tell them they're hating and wait for my check.
lots of good stats there:103631605

In four career starts against the Broncos, Rivers has a 119.8 passer rating, and the Chargers have won all four by an average of 39-13. In those games, he has completed 69.6 of his passes for 960 yards and seven touchdowns with two interceptions

now you know.

Rivers has not thrown an INT in his last three games...

During this Charger 6 game S/U and ATS winning streak to end their season...

Rivers has 10 TD's vs 3 INT's.

He may be "mouthy" and a "wise-ass"...but he is playing his best football of the season right now...and that's all that matters to me.

GO BOLTS!

sure guy if you want stats and facts rivers is not in the top 10 in any major passing category unless your talking about MOST picks. chad pennington had a better qb rating this year. another fact you may be right about him playing ok in the playoff game last year but key word is PLAYOFF and not PLAYOFFS that means one and done he caught a break getting a home game cuz if they had to go to tennessee they'd probably lose im not a SD hater but i am a rivers hater if you want to run your mouth you need at least one ring under your belt he's a classless joke he would fit in great in my hometown. his record is impressive but no one cares what you can do in the regular season if you can't win in the playoffs

just read these opinions on here gyno

obviously lots of these guys put down big money on Indy vs. the chargers or maybe put down a bunch of money on the chargers in there first few games this year and rivers fumbled or something that made them think he sucks all of the sudden. Like an old girlfriend in highschool that cheated on them or something. Sad how obbsessed these guys are with hating.:nohead:

if he's so accurate why was he 23rd in the league in completion percentage way behind jay cutler btw. also im not disputing his record during the regular season but no one cares about when you can't win a postseason game mcnabb put up good numbers and a good record yet he doesnt really get respect and he's done a lot more in the playoffs than rivers has granted he's still young. i dont hate san diego i think cromarties going to be one of the best DBs also even off the roids merriman is still a good linebacker I'm just saying in no way can they stack up against NE or indy i do think if they were in the nfc they would have a decent shot to go to the superbowl

ok fair enough.

but again how many playoff games has rivers played in? 1 and he had a very good game if you watched it. He made enough plays to win THAT game. Others didnt and they lost.

completion percentage? how about his % since his center came back mid season and since they picked up a WR (chambers) since there original #1 WR parker has been hurt all year, do you not think all this factors here?? I have the advantage being a fan and having season tickets but seriously i cant believe all the negative opinions about him,

in this league its all about the "W" and the W is all that matters.

I dont see anyone saying chargers bad loss to NE last year they way they " shoulda woulda coulda " the colts charger game this year.

i wonder why.

that right there covers it all. I've said all along when they were loosing early in the season that not having #1 WR Parker in there was what was hurting them the most. Of course that is going to hurt Rivers' completion % if the guys he throws to run bad routes and drop the ball, but anyone that has seen Rivers the last two years know that he can be good when he has to but one of the things most people forget is that this is his 2nd year playing, most people that dont follow the Chargers assume he's been playing for a while but this is his 2nd year and since he made the Pro Bowl in his first year I guess expectations are high.

Most Rivers haters are people who watched him have a bad day early in the season when they bet on the Chargers or recently saw the recent game against Denver were he yapped it up a bit cause all the haters started coming out after that game. I even heard someone use as an excuse for Jay Cutler that this was his 2nd year, well guess who is also on his 2nd year.

Actually, most Rivers haters are die-hard Charger fans like me who it pains to think that we let a QB who was far better than Rivers get away in Brees. Brees peaked after he left the Chargers was just growing into stardom. Last yr he was an MVP candidate on a far inferior team with far inferior weapons than the Chargers have. The CHargers would be a threat to NE and Indy with Brees here. As someone who goes to every home Chargers game, it is painful to watch Rivers throw. He throws like a _itch and some of the throws he makes just make you want to puke. Yes, when he has all day to throw, and wide open WR's he can deliver the ball. But he has puss for an arm, ZERO athletic ability to avoid the rush and create plays. Even guys like Brady and Manning who are not runners know how to move around in the pocket and buy time. Rivers looks like a deer in freaking headlights when he gets blitzed.

if that is your excuse for hating on Rivers then shouldn't you be hating on A.J. Smith:ohno: The newly appointed god of all player evaluators:missingte

Brees is not that great of a qb...he turns the ball over a bunch, never wins important games and was damaged goods when the chargers let him go. Rivers is 25-7 as a qb and went 14-2 with the same team brees lead to 9-7. You're not even a charger fan if you're trashing your own players like that

31 out of 32 nfl GM's would take Brees over Rivers to QB their team RIGHT NOW. "Damaged goods"? He lead the league in passing and was runner up in the MVP vote last yr. He hasn't won impt games because the Chargers stunk when he was here (and he hadn't peaked yet). The Saints have Reggie Bust running the ball (no running game) and whiffing on blitz protections.
The shoulder injury was the perfect excuse for AJ to justify letting Brees go. He would've done so anyways. If you haven't noticed, AJ is all about his draftees and choices having the impact. Brees was not his guy. Why do you think LT is so annoyed by Rivers and is best friends with Brees? He represents the majority of the team.

31 out of 32? Well I guess I would side with the best GM in NFL then since his drafts are always great. And yes he was damaged goods, why do you think no teams were offering him a contract except for the lowly saints who had to overpay to get someone to come there. The dolphins signed culpepper over him because they didnt like his shoulder. LT is not annoyed by Rivers bro...they get along just fine
