I have never played there but just over a year ago, Jake offered me a 50% bonus.....something just didn't seem right to me, so i passed and deposited into another book....so i cant say they did anything bad, i just went with my gut feeling...

Assassin is correct, Sportbet (now) does list its' bonus requirements out on their website in full. I don't think most of the compliants dealing with Sportbet are JUST because of bonuses but rather winning there and the $hit you catch there after assassin.

As one who was recently kicked out of a different book for winning (first and likely last time) I would agree that winners should always be paid, and in a timely manner. I would respect any comments from posters who had problems after winning (non bonus related complaints).

Maybe I am one of the lucky ones, but I have NEVER had any payment type disputes. I win, I get paid. I lose, I re-up and get a bonus. No problems. Then again, I may be different than some. I beleive I have a good relationship with Jake, and have an "informal" agreement, although I have been told I can take my winnings whenever I like (subject to rollver of course). That said, I do not request withdrawls becuase I have met rollvers, but rather becuase I have gotten my balance to a level where I believe it is prudent to reduce my exposure (same as with my other books). I went 6 months playing within a range once ($0-3,000), no deposits and no withdrawls, so again, maybe I am an anomoly. My own threshold is $3500-$4000, but everyine needs to nake that judgement on thier own, both as to exposure and playing at Sportbet.

good luck everyone

HCTclipeer,

You will find that First FIdelity like many other books love people who lose. The real test is what happens once you are up 20k on them. Then see how they treat you. FYI, first fidelity used to offer 2 free neteller payouts a week. But I recently heard that has been reduced to 1 free neteller payout a month. And anything after that is a whopping 4% fee. Definitely not a book I would advise playing at, if you plan on wining a lot.

First Fidelity is a fine book IMO. They get alot of heat for mailings, but they have been around and they pay.

I can not back these policys, but they are stated on the website! It also sounds like some well intentioned rules that lack practicality. 1) There must be a higher roll over in the casino for obvious reasons, BUT....If as kornholio says, his friend "literally played like two roulette spins and that was it", I would think someone with Jake's experience would be able to see the exception to the rule. 2) Moneylines don't count towards a roll-over? I understand why a sportsbook does not want someone laying a 7-1 fav to cover a roll over. How about giving credit for the amount wagered if money line is a dog or amount to win if money line is a fav?

I had somewhat irritating experience with Sportbet. I made an initial deposit of a few hundred there and lost it fairly quickly. About 2-3 months later when they were offering a reload bonus, I deposited a few hundred dollars and e-mailed them to claim the bonus. They sent me a reply asking me to call them to verify some information. I then went to place a couple bets and discovered that my account had been locked!

I called to find out what the heck was going on and I was told that since it had been "a long time" since I'd used my account, they needed to reconfirm my personal information, including calling me at my phone number. How in the world is a 2-3 month gap between the initial deposit and the reload a long enough time that they should be locking someone's account before they can re-verify personal information? If I hadn't used my account in years, sure, but 2-3 months, especially when the deposit is only a couple hundred dollars???

It wasn't a big deal for me to call them up, but a lot of my friends who gamble live with someone who doesn't approve of their gambling, so for these people it would be a pain in the ass to verify personal information like that, particularly if their wife was home for the evening already and they'd reloaded with the intention of betting that evening's games.

They cut my internet limits from $250 to $0. I have no idea why. Jake won't give me an explanation. Far cry from Pinnacle's $30,000 limits.

Pokerking, how far along are you in completing the rollover? You must still be winning, huh?

I had problems with Sportbet as well and probably would have not been fixed if I didn't mention that i was member of RX!!! How many people are out there that know absolutely nothing about this site that he is ripping off!! I guarantee there are a lot of people that have been ripped off by him. He only helped me out after I mentioned RX and was quick to do so. Needless to say I got out of there shortly thereafter. Terrible book when there are so many better ones out there!

I think if you are on the up and up and Jake knows you a member of a particular forum or better yet even works at a posting forum, the less likely he is to phuck you. Seen his type before and this is how they operate.

I played there, lost promptly, and did not reload. But I watched the friends that I had referred go through a lot of crap just to get paid. Rollover was 5 times, then 7 times, then 10 times, etc. Jake answering e-mails the same day, then not returning 2nd and 3rd e-mails after 4 days, because they were questions about payouts. Jake is a slick salesman, but damn, I wonder what he would do if there were no rx.com to at least keep him from stealing. Friends don't let friends play at sportbet.

Player: Hi Jake, how's it going?
Jake: Great, I see you're doing well here. Good luck, I hope you make some money.

Player: Jake, I would like to withdraw $500.
Jake: No se. No hablo ingles. Como se dice chinge te en ingles?

LOL - nothing wrong with a little humor. "free desserts" good one!

My rollover and business with sportbet continues to roll on roll on roll on. Im down overall and about 25% done with the rollover. Nothing Ive seen with my account, limits, emails, phone calls or plays has me thinking badly at all. True im down overall but i knew that was the risk in a rolloever this big. Ill come back. Ill keep you posted but Im feeling secure with sportbet and lucky to have found someone willing to roll the dice with a bailout offer.

free desserts on me after my rollover.

The last thing I want to see is have somebody suffer a large set back from a no payment like I had with EWINNER and many other places.

Jake has given me a bailout from my EWINNER disaster and Im happy to be a new customer at sportbet.

This guy has been a pleasure to talk to and deal with. Straight shooter and loves the sports gambling business.

He runs a long standing top notch off shore sportsbook. I urge everyone
reading to at least check out his web site, his offerings and call him
personally with any questions about joining. Its a great place to
add to your existing portfolio of sportsbooks, stable company that will be
there, customer focused, good promotions, good line and point spread opinions to consider, days with half juice, days with free 1/2 points, poker, easy software with 99.9% uptime even during crunch time, good payment options and the manager/owner (Jake) can be reached virtually anytime with questions or concerns and he posts here as well on occasion.

My experience is much the same from above. Jake is one if not THE finest book managers in the business and a GREAT guy to boot. I have been there almost 6 years now and never had a problem with payouts or anything like that.

Great software, great Bonuses, different lines, and of course fast payouts and great customer service.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A+++!!!
