I might as well chime in too. For me I don't think the RX has done anything wrong nor is doing anything wrong, in fact Wil does a great job in my opinion of limiting these touts to their proper areas. They have their own area but all situations are not the same. The way this came down it made sense the way they handled it, who cares if they are paying a guy that is and has been one of the more popular posters this site has ever had, we should appreciate that. In fact if the RX hadn't kept him we would never hear the end of it. My personal disappointment is with what Ace is doing now that he's losing, he was a lot easier to take before he became an official tout and was so hard pressed to show a profit. It's not the losing most folks are so upset with, we've all done that, it's the tout-like comments of how much he is winning in other sports and the other chest beating. I've also noticed others with very few posts are often coming in and doing a little shilling for him now as well. That is minor though, more importantly the CHASING is what's really looking bad IMO!! There is no other words for it, he's playing the same game that Rodfather and Kodiak used to play in these forums. Keep on pressing up the $$ in hopes he finally gets hot so he can show us all how much he "won" again this year.
I looked at the first 7 weeks as I was curious, in not one of those weeks was he even betting half of what he is betting now. In week #3 for instance he had a total of $4300 in play, this week just one of his play is for $4000 all by itself. We went from a weekly huge play that was $2000, when he got down it went to $2500, just recently it rose to $3000, and now of course it up's to $4000. We skipped the $3500 platform entirely. When you have a spread from betting $200 a game to $4000 a game than that is ridiculous! Yes I know the RX can't tell the man how to bet, but that does not change the fact it's still terrible that he is showing all these guys almost the exact opposite of what they should be seeing. When you are getting hammered and apparently mired in a bad streak where you just can't win, you do not keep increasing the amounts in hopes you finally win, be smart and live to fight another day, things will change. Most people know that, unfortunately those are not the newer folks that are mostly reading his threads. If you lose you lose, I don't blame him for that, I just wish this guy would set a smart example of how you lose and NOT chase!! Make this horrible season a positive thing, a guy with this kind of popularity losing like this yet still keeping consistant would have been great example for others to follow....
The RX has Fish, Jman and lot of others that through their experience pass on a helluva lot of good information to the gamblers, they represent the RX in a positive manner. To see this guy being the most popular of them all and just blatantly chasing his loses, boasting about his "wins" from either other years or other sports, and moonlighting as a tout is a damn shame IMO. Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against Ace, everyone I know that has met him thinks highly of him. I have even seen the selfless way he has assisted many others in the past, I just think he's so caught up (like most touts are) in desperately showing a profit that he is doing as much harm now as he did good in the past. Not only doing this is showing others what not to do, if not careful it could detract from his other wins, players might question if he is doing this now was he doing the same back then as he claims he wins 11 of 13 years or whatever it was? If he really is "an ex-bookie that is interested in helping players win" than he could be using his leverage in other areas right now. Helping others goes beyond throwing up picks, help them manage their money and be smart through your own actions rather than just verbalizing it every week. Either way no beefs Mr Eastman, just keep in mind you have a lot of influence and act accordingly. Everyone knows how to win, show everyone you know how to lose as well. Good luck pal.
